Only So Much

There's only so much my mind can take,

Eventually, you'll find, my mind will simply break.

You don't know how it feels to not be free,

And so you talk as though dirt and rocks are above me.

An overload of hints and mumbles,

What goes in can't come out.

You've left me lying on the ground,

Have pictured me humbled.

You watch me bend,

The farther you push me,

The sooner I'll snap.

You've seen,

That there will be no one there,

To catch me when I fall.

There's only so much that I can take,

Eventually, you'll find that I will break.
