Pieces of Me

I don't know what more to do now,

I would wait for you,

Will wait for you,

But every time I see her in my place,

A little piece of me,

It shrinks,

Every time I see her in my place,

All the sadness I felt at this and what has happened,

It turns to anger.

Every time I see how you carry on,

Carry on when I have made my peace with this,

Broken and made my peace time and time again,

I see you carry on in such a way it seems,

That you draw those who would help to you,

And yet you simply push them away.

Every time I see how you carry on,

A little piece of me,

It shrinks,

Every time I see how you carry on,

All the sadness I felt at this and what has happened,

It turns to anger.

Every time I see how those that I loved,

They have left me,

They have scorned me,

They have insulted me,

They no longer have my trust.

Every time I see how they cannot believe me,

A little piece of me,

It shrinks,

Every time I see how those I loved have left me,

All the sadness I felt at this and what has happened,

It turns to anger.

All those pieces of myself that I have lost,

They were the pieces of me that I had given to you,

And the pieces fell away.
