It was just another day at U.A. only today we were doing sparing and I being the unlucky person I am got paired with my crush, an excitable redhead by the name of Kirishima and I was not happy about it. My quirk was simple, if someone with a fire quirk tryed to burn mu the flames would have no affect same with a quirk like super strength you see my quirk is just that other people's quirks don't affect me (by the way this or one other quirk I thought of will usually be the quirk the reader gets unless something else is requested) so I tend to try and make up for my lack of a flashy quirk by making plans based on things I know and while I know plenty about kirishima himself, I don't know much about how he fights. Because of this I decided to mainly focus on dodging, hoping I could find an opportunity to knock him off guard. As we prepared for a fight if I got increasingly nervous but decided to simply do my best.
As the fight began he rushed towards me with a punch, I dodged and he punched again and again and though I did my best to stay up I ultimately ended up losing.
After the fight Kirishima approached me and started talking
"That was a great fight, you were really manly, honestly I thought you almost had me there a couple of times"
"Thanks, you were pretty manly too by the way" I replied with a smile
" haha thanks hey as long as we're being manly I have a question for you"
"Okay what is it" I wondered what question could possibly be
"Well, I was wondering if you'd go out with me"
The world seem to freeze as I heard that come out of his mouth "wait really, it's just you're so cool and everything so like why would you want to go out with me"
He laughed at this "why wouldn't I want to go out with you, you're pretty great after all"
Time dragged as I said nothing
"I mean if you don't want to you don't have to I just like you and-"
I cut him off with a kiss on his cheek " Yes, I'll go out with you"
He seemed to smile to himself as he walked away back to class.
Bonus: "See I told you he'd ask 'em out today" Mina said gloating after winning the bet she'd made with Kaminari "Aw man I swore he would've done it next week" he said passing a small amout of money over to Mina "That sounds like something a loser would say"
