You had liked Kirishima for a while but had never been brave enough to tell him. You had decided that was going to change today and you were finally going to confess your feelings to him. All you needed to do was figure out how, who knew that would be so hard though.
"Minaaaa, why is this so hard, I just want to tell a boy I like him"
"HAHAHAHA no clue, but it's pretty funny to watch you freak out about it"
"Rude"
"I dunno, maybe you should just get him alone after school and tell him how you feel"
"I guess that could work but like... I dunno it just doesn't feel right"
"Huh, well what about... OH! Invite him to hang out then at some point get him alone and confess your feelings, it'll be so romantic" I thought about it as she seemed to be busy daydreaming.
"Ya'know that could actually work! Ok, I'm going to do it, wish me luck Mina" she laughed as I ran off to go find Kirishima.
When I found him a few minutes before class started I quickly asked if he'd like to hang out after school, he agreed and we chose a place to meet before both returning to our seats.
After school I stopped by my dorm to put away my things and change my clothes before heading out to the park we were going to meet at. When I got there he hadn't arrived yet so I sat on a bench and listened to music while I waited for him to get there.
He arrived about ten minutes later and we started walking around the park. After a while we got to a small field without any people near it and decided to sit there for a while.
"Hey (Y/N) I have something to tell you"
"Oh, actually I have something to tell you as well"
"You do" he asked "well then you can go first, after all it wouldn't be manly to make you wait"
"Oh well you don't have to do that, but if it's really ok then I guess I can"
He nodded
I cleared my throat "Right, well the thing is," I gulped "well I really like you," as soon as I said that I buried my face in my hands in embarrassment
He seemed very taken aback as he responded "Wait you do" I just nodded, "..." he stopped talking and I assumed that meant he didn't like me the same way and moved away from him while muttering a small 'sorry'
"I like you the same way" he exclaimed suddenly, "I'm sorry for taking so long, I just needed a minute to take in what you said"
At hid declaration I looked up at him, "You really mean it" I ask unsure of myself,
"Of course, after all it would be super un-manly to lie" he brightened up "and well, you see I was going to tell you the same thing" he must have noticed my surprised look because he started to explain himself further "yeah, it was Mina's idea actually, she suggested that I should confess next time we hung out together, I was really happy to get your invite because of it"
"Wait..." things were suddenly making much more sense now, "so, Mina told you to..." I trailed off but he seemed to get the point as he nodded "huh" I laughed slightly "You know she told me just the same thing"
After a moment we both burst out laughing before Kiri said something "Well, I guess I should thank her then, after all if she hadn't pushed me I wouldn't be able to do this" I didn't understand what he meant so I cocked my head in curiosity before he connected our lips in a short and sweet kiss. I smiled "Yeah, I guess I'll have to thank her too"
