He loved you. He loved you then and he loved you now. He didn't love you at first, in fact he hated you. But in his opinion his past self was stupid for not seeing how amazing you were.
To him at first you were just another obstacle for him to get through on his way to becoming a hero. But then he fought you for a training exercise and he hated it.
But you still fought, and you lost and he hated it. Your spirit was so strong you kept fighting even after it was clear you lost and he hated it. Because when you fought until the teachers had to call the match because it would be dangerous for you to fight anymore he hated it because that's when he realized you weren't just another obstacle.
You were a hero.
You were a better hero then him.
And he hated it.
But at the same time he didn't.
He hated you, but he still started staring at you in class.
He hated you and yet you still crept into his mind when he was trying to sleep.
And he hated it.
He hated you...so why did he love you so much?
He loved you.
That was the conclusion he reached one night after once again tossing and turning because thoughts of you wouldn't let him sleep. He loved you, and he hated it.
He hated it because how could you love him. The two of you weren't even friends, you were always hanging out with Deku and his stupid friends. He hated it, and yet he still loved you. This was hard for him so at first he tried ignoring these feelings and letting them fade, but that didn't work. So he told his friends and received a lot of very bad advice, so that didn't work.
Then was the sports festival where he hoped you'd fight and he'd try to make a deal with him so if you lost you had to go on a date with him, but that didn't work, you fought Todoroki and lost landing you in third place and with no date. After that he decided he would try confessing to you sometime during training camp... but that didn't work.
Two students went missing during camp. Bakugo Katsuki and (l/n) (y/n). Only one student survived.
Bakugo hated you. He also loved you. But as you lay limp in his arms he realized he never told you either.
And he hated it.
My first angst, my goal with this was to make it sad, and did I succeed... I dunno. Fun fact the name of this oneshot is 'Hated it' lol probably no surprise there. Anyway I hope you enjoyed!
