Why did I agree to come here again? Right, Nejere asked me to come and now I'm stuck at some stupidly loud party. Though it does seem that I'm not the only one out of place here.
"Hey Tamaki"
"O-oh, hi (y-y/n) um this d-doesn't seem like somewhere you'd usually hang out"
I chuckle weakly "Yeah, It's really not" I sigh before getting an idea "what do you say we ditch the party and get ice cream instead"
He seems surprised at my suggestion before quickly agreeing, he probably wants to get out of here even more than I do. I text Nejere before we leave, luckily there's a park with an ice cream stand not too far from where we are.
Nejere isn't going to be happy I abandoned her party but to be honest I wanted time alone with Tamaki for a while, I've had a crush on him for a while. I haven't been able to confess to him yet though because I wanted us to be alone when I did.
A tap on my shoulder breaks me out of my thoughts "Hey um, th-thanks for getting me out if there, I was pretty uncomfortable"
"Oh, It was no problem really, I wasn't having the best time there either"
"O-oh yeah, I'm still glad to be out of there, especially if it means I can spend time with you"
I could hardly believe my ears. Did my crush just say that he liked spending time with me!
"H-hey, it looks like we're here"
I was broken out of my thoughts "Ah, it seems we are, lets go order then"
We both ordered our ice cream before finding a bench and settling down in a comfortable silence. "H-hey did you mean what you said, about spending time with me"
My question seemed to panic him "Oh well, I-I mean well I don't, I guess I-"
"Tamaki" I cut him off softly "cause if you did mean it the I guess I should tell you that I like spending time with you too... probably more than anyone else"
"Really, I mean why would you want to spend time with someone like me"
I felt my heart melt "Please don't say that Tamaki, I think you're incredible"
"Ah, really" he paused "could someone like you really think that about me"
"Of course, I like you so much" I gently take his hand in my own "I adore you Tamaki and I wish you could see yourself the way I see you, because it's such and amazing thing to see"
I think even the tips of his ears are red now. But it's true, he's such an amazing person as well as an amazing hero.
"(Y/n)... do you think I could kiss you" he looks at me cupping my face in his hand.
I glance at his lips before speaking softly "I don't think I have a problem with that"
I pull him closer, capturing his lip in a gentle kiss before pulling apart slowly "I think we should do that again"
I think ice cream was a good idea.
