Chapter Seven
Immediately the words left my mouth Nicole turned around to stare at me. I sighed as she patiently waited for me to continue.
"He has my letter." I began sitting on my bed while Nicole did the same.
"What letter?" She asked, a look of confusion plastered on her face.
"The love letter I wrote for Zander." I replied quietly and her eyes widened.
"Why didn't you destroy it after you wrote it?" She asked me and I stood up in frustration.
"I don't know, one moment I was writing it then I got distracted and it's in my bag and somehow gets into Forrest hands." I ranted even if what I was saying made no sense.
"Wait a second." She said holding her hand up. "What does this have to do with you guys dating?" She asked clearly confused.
"You know how the Royals have this big Thanksgiving party thing they do every year?" I asked her and she nodded.
"Well grandma Rose was planning to introduce a potential girlfriend to him but he lied and told her he has a girlfriend and now she expects him to come with her." I explained and she blinked in surprise.
"Now he is blackmailing me to act as his girlfriend."

I woke up thirty minutes earlier the next day due to stomach cramps.
Oh Shit.
I thought as I realized my period has arrived. Once I managed to get out of bed, I took a long and hot shower before dressing up in a white crop top and my black skinny jeans. I could smell the heavenly scent of my mom's bacon and that immediately brightened my mood. Once I was done with my makeup, I followed the scent of my mom's bacon down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen and gawked at the scene in front of me.
Why was Forrest eating breakfast at my house?
"Um, what are you doing here?" I asked my mind racing with possibilities of why he was in my house. Forrest turned to me with a smile on his face and was about to give me a reply when my mother spoke.
"Hey honey, Forrest is here to give you a ride to school. And don't worry your father took Nicole to school, she had an early practice." She said and I fought hard to keep the shocked expression of my face.
"Oh right thanks Forrest." I said with a fake smile which quickly turned really once I sighted the bacon and eggs on Forrest plate.
I sat on the chair and my mom turned to me with an apologetic expression on her face."Forrest had the last batch of bacon. You won't mind if you have your eggs with toast or I could whip up some pancakes." With that the happy mood I was in crumbled to the ground and it took everything I had not to punch Forrest on his stupid face.
"Don't bother mom, I wasn't that hungry anyways. And I wouldn't want you to be late for work." I told my mother before turning to Forrest with a fake smile on my face.
"I'll be in the car." I told him before walking out of the house and going to the passenger seat of his black car that was parked in his driveway.
I refused to acknowledge him when he entered the car and instead looked out the window. He sighed when I didn't even look his way.
