18. Dwelling

(Ariana's POV)

I was so upset. The last thing I wanted was for everyone to physically fight!

I was so disappointed in Justin for fighting back.

Matt got into the car next to me and instantly pulled me into a hug. I sobbed into his chest and hugged him back.

"Ari.. are you okay?" Justin asks coming up to the door.

"Just get in your car so we can get back" I sigh hiccuping with the tears.

He nods his head and shuts the door and the car leaves.

"Don't cry.." Matt says rubbing my back.

"I'm so sorry Matt.. I didn't mean for this to happen!" I say.

"It's okay. I left magcon anyway" he mumbles.

"What?" I ask shocked and pull away from the hug.

"They're toxic Ariana." He says

"Is it because of me?" I ask

"That doesn't matter" he smiles at me with tear stained eyes himself.

I knew it was because of me..

I can't get the picture of them fighting out of my head..

When we arrive to the hotel we had extra guards to bring us all in one by one as paparazzi was insane.

"What the fuck is going on??" Scooter says as all 3 of us get in.

I look over at Justin disappointedly.

"I went to see if Matt was okay. And Shawn started on me" he says touching his lip leaving a trace of blood on his fingers.

"Right.. let's get you cleared up. Ariana take Matt and his bag upstairs we will get a room sorted for him soon" scooter adds.

I nod my head and we both walk upstairs. We get to mine and Justin's room and we walk inside.

"I can't believe how nice this hotel is" Matt says breaking the silence.

"It's cool huh" I smile.

"You know I'm so grateful for being allowed here" Matt says.

"Don't be stupid I wouldn't have let anything else happen" I say.

"Thank you" he smiles.

Erin walks in

"Ari- oh hi Matt. Wait why are you crying?" She says

Justin walks in

"Why is Justin battered?!" She says again

"I fall asleep for 2 hours and this happens.." she puts her hands on her head.

"So I went to see how Matt was. And it turned into a fight between me and Shawn" Justin admits.

"Yes a fight that shouldn't have happened" I snap

"Ari I'm so sorry okay. I never wanted it to get like that. I did tell him to get off me twice" Justin says in his defence

"I know..." I sigh "I just hate all of this so much.."

"Are you okay Matt?" Justin asks

"Yeah. Thanks so much for coming to check on me." He says.

"Anytime" Justin says and smiles at him.

"So what now?" Erin asks.

"Matt will come with us everywhere we go" Justin says.

"I appreciate it" Matt smiles.

"I think we all need to have a chill evening." Erin says.

"Agreed!!!" I sigh.

*a few hours later*

(Matts POV)

Ariana has been really down this afternoon. She felt like it was all her fault but it's really not!

I have recently come off a live as I was explaining to my fans why I wouldn't be continuing the tour and apologising.

"I say we order some food " Erin smiles.

"That's all you ever say" Ariana laughs.

"Well.. is it a bad idea?" She asks

"No..." Ariana smiles.

*later that evening*

(Hayes POV)

Within 6 months we lost two huge members of magcon.

We were all sat in the same hotel room in silence.

I can't get the image of Ariana crying out of my head. It was so good to see her brunette again. I can't even lie anymore or try to push the feelings away. I missed her terribly. She was my moonlight.

"Right. Let's take this as a learning curve. How we reacted to Ariana leaving made us lose Matt. So we need to change how we react to losing Matt." Mahogany says.

I knew she missed Ariana.

"No we only need to work harder and make them both realise that leaving magcon is the worst decision of their lives!" Shawn says. Carter Taylor and Aaron agreeing with him.

"I want to do well don't get me wrong but look how miserable-"  mahogany starts.

"We're not miserable!" Shawn sighs

"Look. Let's try and see the positive okay? At the end of the day they both walked out on us. Let's stay together like the family we are and move on" Shawn smiles.

It got late so we all decide to go to our own rooms. Maggie was in mine.

I get into bed and she joined me the other side.

"Are you okay?" She asks cuddling up to me.

"Yeah" I mumble and turn lay on my side with my back to her.

"What's wrong!?" She sighs.

"Nothing okay maggie!" I snap.

"Don't be so rude to me!" She snaps back. "You should be so happy that you're sleeping next to me instead of Ariana" she snaps again

Little did she know that's exactly what I wish I was doing..
