**Devin's Pov.**

"If they would just-"
"Devin, drop it. Do you realize how embarrassing that was to watch?" Nathan's voice boomed inside of his room as I sat on the edge of his bed, my wounds completely healed at such an awkward time.
I frowned deeply.
"You weren't supposed to show up.. what happened to that search?" I asked him now.
Nathan laughed and it was such a bone chilling sound.
Because it was a pissed off laugh, not the flirtatious laugh that I was used to hearing already.

"What happened to the watch?" He smirked towering over me.
"Luther called for a meeting which surprise surprise, the reason behind it was for you to suggest such a stupid ass thing! Not to mention, landed you on Luther's pissed list." He knelt down making eye contact.
"So. Was is worth it? Embarrassing yourself and pissing your guardian off?" He asked me amused.

I glared at him getting up but let out a sharp gasp being shoved back down.
Nathan looked down at me, all amusement gone.
"We're not done talking Devin, I'm not your typical guy where you can get pissed at me for pointing your stupidity out, then let you leave. You are not the victim in this situation, that kid below us? He'll die, no one will save him. I'll chain you to this bed before you even try such a reckless thing again." He caught my chin his eyes burning into mine.
"Do I make myself clear?" He asked me.

I stared at him for the longest.
Nathan studied me then rolled his eyes.
"You know what? Go for it." He moved away from me as he walked over to his weight set.
My brows furrowed.
"What?" I asked him.
Nathan looked to me.
"If you want to attempt to save that poor unfortunate soul down there, by all means. I won't stop you, we're not mates Devin. I don't have that control over you, not yet." He smirked as he walked over to the punching bag, before he began to actually start to punch it.

I sat there, silently fuming and not once did he take his eyes off me.
Frowning I rubbed the side of my neck.
"I'd rather you not hate me for continuing to act stupid." I said at last.
Nathan arched a brow.
"Oh trust me, your bold suggestion out there? Was enough to stop me from hating you." He smirked walking back over to me.
"You're such a oblivious air head when it comes to reality, that its nearly impossible to hate you. Your cute features interrupt that." He told me.

Fixing to speak, I was cut off by his lips on mine.
Moaning softly he smirked against me.
"I really want to fuck you, Devin. But I'm much more interested to see if you'd actually be ballsy enough to break the kid out, if you can actually manage that." He licked his lips.
"I'll reward you." He smirked softly, his eyes flickering with lust.

I looked at him confused.
"Weren't you just angry about breaking him out?" I asked him.
Nathan looked at me.
"Oh I'm furious with this idea, but if that kid is actually true to his word about keeping that psycho away from this house? I'd like to see if the plan would actually work, then whoever lost their room downstairs. Can have it back, and no one has to piss me off further about this." He told me.

I bit my lip.
"How will I get Kipper out though?" I asked him.
Nathan blinked.
"By turning the knob on the door? Devin, the door isn't locked." He smirked at me.
My eyes grew wide.
"What..?" My brows knitted.
Nathan looked at me.
"None of the cell doors were ever locked, its just a test to see who was stupid enough to break out. I mean yes, Abel did break out and did get away. But, that whore and the kid? Either they're aware the door is unlocked, or they're smart enough not to make a break for it. Especially when everyone is on high alert." He explained.
I nibbled my lip.
"It seems too easy then.. what if Luther finds out I broke Kipper out?" I questioned.

Nathan shrugged.
"Then he finds out and you two have that serious problem he mentioned earlier, or." He caught my collar pulling me closer.
"You play your cards right by waiting for the right time to spring him free. We don't know how fast he can run, just like you don't know how much of a liar he really is." He shrugged.
