Once we were back at Sam's apartment he busied himself making us sandwiches for lunch. I stood in the kitchen leaning against the counter watching him. He turned to open the cabinet behind my head. He smiled down at me then swooped down and captured my lips with his. He wrapped an arm around my waist and gently pulled me out of the way while still kissing me. I heard the break of the cabinet door then Sam pulled away.

"You could have just asked me to move." I said breathlessly.

Same still had his arm around me holding me against his side while his other hand pulled out two plates.

"But this is much more fun" he said with a smirk.

The next second he was kissing me again. He turned to face me completely wrapping his arms around my back and pulling my body against his. His hands rested on my hips as his tongue swiped along my bottom lip. I was quick to open up to him. His fingers dug into my hips as his tongue explored my mouth. A quickly increasing heat started to take me over. It started in my cheeks then slowly worked down threw my neck then my chest then my stomach. Sam's hands suddenly squeezed my ass as a unfamiliar feeling had me squeezing my thighs together. He bit at my bottom lip and a noise I'd never made before slipped from my lips. Sam pulled away quickly taking a step back. My head and body were light and dizzy. I think I needed to sit down. I quickly found the small table and sat down. My hear was hammering in my chest. I'm sure it was loud enough for Sam to hear it.

"I'm sorry about that. I got carried away." Sam said softly as he sat a plate in front of me.

He sat down across from me with his own plate.

"Its fine just unexpected but a good unexpected. I've never experienced anything like that before. It was..." I paused looking for the right words then I remembered how I felt.

"It was hot" I chuckled picking up my sandwich.

Sam paused mid bite. I glanced up to see him staring at me with a mouth full of sandwich.

"What?" I asked raising a brow at him.

He seemed to snap out of it. He chewed his food quickly then sat his sandwich down.

"You're just so innocent I wasn't expecting that answer." He chuckled lightly.

"Sam, I may be inexperienced but I still know things and I know how I feel." I smiled sweetly at him.

"I meant I figured you'd be more shy about it." He picked his sandwich back up.

We stayed silent as we finished out food. Sam tossed the plates in the sink when we were both finished. I made my way over to the couch and sat down. Sam fell beside me a few minutes later. He sat close to me. His leg against mine. My heart immediately picked up pace. I had to be honest, after that kiss I was more than curious. I wanted to know what intimacy felt like but that was something you were only suppose to do when married at least that's how it was in the 40s.

"Can I ask you something?" I questioned turning to face Sam.

"Sure" he moved to look at me.

"How does the world view intimacy now?" I asked.

Sam just stared at me for a moment. His mouth twitched into a smirk.

"Intimacy?" He raised a brow at me.

"You know, intimacy, I was always told you were suppose to wait until you were married." I tried to explain.

His face turned to one of realization.

"You mean sex" he chuckled.

I felt my face heat up instantly. I'd never heard someone use such a casual tone with this subject. I nodded not really sure what to say. He chuckled again.
