(REGINA'S POV)
After I had finally stopped crying I wiped my face with the baby wipes on my nightstand. "Emma do you want to talk about it?" I asked cautiously. Emma shook her head and I respected that so I didn't press about what had happened instead I said "Well when you are ready to talk about it, I'm here." I look up into her sad green eyes as she replies "okay" while looking away. "Get some sleep Emma." I say as she falls asleep. When I'm sure she is asleep I put a protection spell around her so she can sleep peacefully. Then I fall asleep too still in her arms.
I wake up and look to the clock, it's already 2:30pm so I head downstairs to make Emma and myself some lunch.
(EMMA'S POV)
I wake up in Regina's bed and panic at first then I remember the days events and calm down lightly. I then smell food and almost simultaneously hear my stomach growl. I get up and go downstairs to the kitchen and see Regina making chicken and rice. I inhale deeply and Regina turns around and smiles. "You hungry?" She asks. "Starving" I say wiggling my eyebrows. I get us both plates and glasses while she fills hers with water and mine with sprite. We then hear the door open and Henry comes in and yells "Mom I'm home." "In the kitchen!!" Regina yells back. Henry walks into the kitchen and notices me "Oh Emma hi." he says.
(NO POV)
"Mom I'm spending the night at Archie's house" Henry tells Regina. " Okay hun, Are you leaving now?" Regina asks. "Yeah, I just wanted to check in with you first but I'm leaving now." Henry reponds. "Bye Henry!" Emma and Regina yell at the same tima as Henry leaves.
(EMMA'S POV)
I raise my eyebrows at Regina, he shrugs and simply says " He likes pongo, he's a dog person." We sit down at the table and make small talk for a while, then when we finish eating we do the dishes. " Do you want to watch a movie?" Regina asks me. "Sure!" I say shrugging my shoulders. "What movies do you have?" Regina walks to the living room and point to a shelf with pretty much all of my favorite movies that I could ever want to watch. We decided to watch The Devil Wears Prada first because we both liked it. After that movie it was only 7:00pm so we decided to watch Titanic which we both agreed was the best drama movie ever made. Somewhere in the middle of the movie Regina and I had moved closer together and her head was on my shoulder while my head was resting on hers. Toward the end of the movie (SPOILER ALERT!!!) when Jack died and Rose was alone on the driftwood, I saw a single tear fall down Regina's beautiful cheek and she presed closer to me. We turned our heads to look at each other and our lips met in a long awaited, passion filled kiss like none other. We finally separated for air and finihed the movie. When it was over we both got up and went to our bedrooms without even a word to each other. Before I knew it I was asleep thinking about Regina and the kiss, hoping there were no night terrors tonight.
(REGINA'S POV)
I want that again and forever. I know now that I love Emma Swan more than I have ever loved anyone, even more than Daniel. Once again after she was asleep I protected her from the nightmares.
I wake up and make breakfast for Emma and myself. Then I go upstairs and wake her up, we walk downstairs and eat breakfast in silence. Just as I am about to go crazy from the silence, Emma leans over the table and crashes those beautiful cinnamon tasting lips to my own. I immediatley lean into the kiss until again we break apart for air. "That was...WOW!" Emma breathes out. "Yeah I know" I say back with a giant smile o my face. I then look at the time and groan. "What?' Emma asks suddenly nervous. "I'm the mayor" I say. Emma looks puzzled only for a moment " Oh right, you have work. don't you?" She says sadly but tries t cover the sadness. " Yeah, I do but I will be back around 4:00." I say. Henry is staying at Archie's house so you don't have to worry about him. I looked down at myself still in pajamas, I took the satirs in twos and quickly changed. I went to Emma to say goodbye. She stuck out her lip and said "Goodbye kiss?'' pouting. "Fine" I said pretending to be frustrated. She pulled me in and we kissed with passion, until again we had to break for that damn air, pesky bastard. "That was a really nice goodbye kiss, but you know it's only for a few hours. I said smirking. "Bye dear" I smiled and turned walking to the door. "Bye Gina!" Emma yelled to me as I walked out the door. Gina, I like that nickname I thought as I drove off to the Town Hall.
(EMMA'S POV)
I am in love with Regina Mills, the adoptive mother of my son. I thought to myself. No, I can't do this I can't be in love, No One Can Love Me... I'm Worthless. Emma thought after Regina left.
(NO POV)
Then Emma got a piece of paper, a pen and her car keys....
