Girls Day (Not edited)

I was itching to write something with my favorite WOF characters! That's why I decided to make the girls night, plus it's a little pause to the drama. Sometimes writing only drama is fun, but it felt like I was writing repeats, so here's a differently paced chapter! (At least at the start) So sorry this has taken so long, I've been very stressed and there is so much drama at school it was getting to be to much...

Glorys POV.

"I'm so glad you could all come," She said smiling. Glory stretched her wings and legs. Her, Moonwatcher, Kinkajou and Tsunami were starting to plan their girls day in front of Jade Mountain.

"What are we doing first?" Moonwatcher asked, doing the same.

"I think we should start with a trip to the beach!" Glory heard Sunny call coming out of the school.

Tsunami quickly nodded, eager to swim in the ocean again.

" Ok, let's head out then," Kinkajou smiled jumping into the air, and letting the wind pull her up. " I can't wait to show you the view Glory! It's amazing!!"

" Can't wait to see it" Gory grinned from the ground. Glad to be in familiar company again, " How close do you think the beach is?"

" If we're talking about Sparkling sands beach," Moonwatcher started, " Then it's around a 5 hour flight?"

Clay walked out of Jade Mountian, lumping slightly. Still, his strides were humongous compared to Glory's.

" Just wanted to say goodbye to you all before you go."

" It's not like we're leaving for weeks Clay, were only hanging out for a day." Glary stated rolling her eyes playfully at her loyal friend.

" Yeah, you'll barley know we were gone, especially now that you have Peril to keep you company" Sunny said giggling.

" Hehe, yeah..." Clay shyly looked down at his talons, blushing slightly.

" Okay guys that's enough teasing Clay, let's go have some fun!!!" Kinkajou shouted flying up even higher into the light blue sky.

The rest of the group quickly said goodbye to Clay and followed Kinkajou towards the beach to start what was sure to be an amazing day. (Hahahaha if only they knew...)

During the flight, Glroy had some extra time to think. She let her scales shimmer and change colors with her emotions. She could hear Moonwatcher and Kinkajou talking a ways away. And Sunny was doing flips in the air.

What am I going to do about Starcatcher and Deathbringer? I really miss him... I also wonder how the village is doing without me there, I know I left Grandour in charge but... She cut her own thoughts out, not wanting to be in a bad mood for her only vacation day.

" How much longer?" Tsunami questioned, flicking her tail annoyed.

" We're almost there!" Kink called from the back of the group, where she and Moon had been talking. " Just a bit longer!"

Sunny smiled and shook off her wings. " this is going to be so much fun"

They all landed and Tsunami immediately sprinted for the water. The sun was high in the sky and the water peacefully rolled off and on shore.

" Wow if you went much faster, you could run to the other side of Pyrrhia is less than a minute!" Glory called after her.

" At least I'm faster than a slug, Glroy!" She heard Tsunami call back before diving into the clear water with a splash.

As Kinkajou was showing Moonwatcher around, showing her all the best places to find fruit and lay in the sun, Glory looked around for where Sunny had gone.

"  Sunny?"

" IM OVER HEREEEE" she heard the little Sandwing shout, "JUST GRABBING A BITE TO—" Sunny broke off her sentence and started screaming.

Glory spun around ready to sprint to help Sunny with whatever had made her scream.

"A BABY ARMADILLO, GLORY I FOUND A BABY ARMADILLO"

Glory immediately paused and flicked her ear annoyed. I thought something horrible had happened, geez.

" Awww it's so cute!!" Kinkajou walked over and stood next to Sunny, Moon following closely behind.

" She looks so adorable"  Moonwatcher said grinning down at the small creature. Kinkajou nodded.

" How can you tell if it's a boy or a girl?"

" Males tend to be bigger and weigh more than females do."

As Kinkajou helped Moon explain the difference, Glory looked around the beach for Tsunami. She should be back by now...

That's when she heard a scream coming from a little ways into the ocean. Her senses became more alert as she heard splashes and the sound of a roar. She hesitantly turned her head backwards, pleading this was just another prank.

It wasn't.

Glory took off sprinting down towards the sand bar, heart racing. She hulted right on the edge. Talons scraping the water. She looked out into the ocean scanning it for royal blue scales. But to her horror all she could see was the water slowly being engulfed in red blood....

Once again I'm so so sorry this has taken me so long!!! But like I said before I've been having a extremely rough few months and haven't been able to work on this story much at all. I don't know when the next chapter will come out, let's pray it's soon but it will depend on how my life goes again. :/
