This is too risky. Dustin walked by    (Y/N)'s side, both of them alone in a park nearby. He even thought that eh had been here before, but wasn't too sure. His memory really lacked. Sometimes, one does not know the simplest things. What he did know though, was that the two of them, being in a wanted criminal activity, were not safe. Even though it was five AM. He didn't know why she wanted to go out so early. It was still dark.

"Are you sure that we are safe, (Y/N)?"

"It's ok, Dustin. We are safe in here."

And he believed her.

(Y/N) admired her surroundings. The trees lost all if their leaves, but still managed to look as majestic as they always do. Their naked branches swaying in the quiet wind. Beautiful sounds were accompanied by the soft howls of nature.

"God, it's beautiful in here. Arthur and I went through this path once..."

"Who's Arthur?"

(Y/N) rapidly stopped. Shit.

"Uhm..."

"You know what? You don't have to tell me right now. But what I do want you to tell me is why in the flip you brought me here Because I DON'T FEEL SAFE."

A slight chuckle escaped her lungs. She always loved Dustin for his childlike personality. She remembered how she always called him Peter Pan, since he never seemed to grow up, mentally and physically. Dustin would always be eighteen. Wild. Full of energy. Youthful. With that, one of his many nicknames was born. (Y/N) recalled them making a dictionary of his and her nicknames.  Good old times. She was also thankful that he didn't insist on further questions about Arthur. That's very unlikely for Dustin. He always used to squeeze out every informations about (Y/N)'s crushes, almost stalking them by not even knowing them.     (Y/N) figured that his fear of getting caught by the police was overpowering the feeling of curiosity. Fate was good to her today.

"Dustin...You are my best friend..."

"Uh-huh..."

"And you are the one I trust the most...besides the Joker..."

"Well, I must say that I am very flattered and - OH MY GOD SOMETHING IS IN THE BUSHES."

"Dustin..."

"We are not safe...even the birds lok like little agents from the FBI. They are watching us and..."

"I'm pregnant."

He stopped walking. With an open jaw he looked at her and freezer into the position he was in right now.

"Are you kidding?"

"No.", (Y/N) chuckled to herself.

"I'm waiting for the just-kidding-part."

"It's not going to come."

"You have three seconds to say it.", and he counted down to three without her saying a word. Suddenly his freeze melted and hugged her.

"I am going to be an uncle! Uncle Dustin!"

As the hug loosend, he looked at her with a sunshine-expression. And through the cold and darkness of Gotham, (Y/N) could feel his warmth and felt his sun shine on her face.

"Wait...so is it like...real...you and the Joker like...wow!"

"Well, we are not sure yet. That's why I wanted to talk to you."

"I feel so...important."

"Because you are."

Dustin and (Y/N) rethought all the moments they spent together. With both of them growing up together, to the point where both of them were in a relationship and one of them even pregnant. Even though they parted their ways a long time ago, they never forgot abouteach other and still is a little space open for one another. It's called friendship.

"(Y/N), as much as I want to help...I have NO idea about pregnancy or...womens stuff at all..."

"It's okay. I have Arthur for that."

Shit.

"WHO THE FUCK IS ARTHUR?"

"Did you do it?"

"Yes."

"What did it cost?"

"Like a dollar fifty."

A shirtless Arthur sat on his bed, polishing a revolver, smoking a cigarette.

"I didn't know pregnancy tests were that cheap."

"They are actually quite the opposite. But I guess the lady was happy for us and gave me a discount. She also looked to tired to function."

Quiet laughter filled the room as Arthur blew out the smoke. He looked out the window. The sun hasn't even risen yet.

"So there are nice people in Gotham."

(Y/N) pouted, offended.

"So you're saying that I'm not nice?", she answered as she slowly approached him.

He chuckled as he puffed on his cigarette. Slowly, he put his revolver to the side, so his hands could focus on her thighs as she sat on his lap, facing him.

"You? Nice? What a joke.", he ran his hands up and down her firm thighs.

"You are the naughtiest girl I know.", he continued.

"Arthur. I am pregnant so no Sex and definitely no smoking.", she said as she took his cigarette and threw it across the room.

"You do look hot while smoking though."

"Like I said.", Arthur pat her thighs.

"Naughty girl."

A quick peck on each other's lips sealed the conversation.

"How's the weather, Arthur?"

"Great."

(Y/N) laughed at his answer.

"How informative.", she joked.

Arthur stood up and put on a shirt.

"Have you ever been on a walk, and you walk past a field, where the fog still lingers over it and the air is thick and moist? What do you call it?"

"Morning Dew?"

"Yeah, exactly. I'm ready for the future, just like the day is ready to start. I am so excited for the future. Our future.", he grabbed her hands, turned them around and kissed her hand.

"Let's take a walk. Shall we, Angel?"

"But the test..."

"There will be time for that.", and with that he pulled her out of the door  to go see the the morning dew as the sun rose up to light up Gotham, the city of darkness.
