Third person's P.O.V

It was a dark and stormy night as Skylor and Amber soared through the sky.

Skylor regretted not making camp at the last piece of land they saw hours earlier. They were now in the middle of the ocean, not sure which way was the fastest way to land.

Skylor tried her very best to steer Amber away from the stray bolts of lightning from the clouds above. The rain did no damage, only get them drenched in water.

But, sometime later, the storm picked up tenfold. The rain was harsher, and lightning was more frequent. It was next to impossible to dodge every bolt of lightning when you're riding a flying bison.

They managed to narrowly dodge the first few strikes, but the next time, they weren't so lucky.

The lightning struck them both down, slamming into the water below. Amber and Skylor's heads bobbed along, getting as much air as possible.

The waves that the storm was making was gargantuan, so huge that they were five times the size of Amber's body. The wave crashed down unto the duo, resulting in them being engulfed in the water.

Amber was already unconscious and sinking deeper into the ocean, Skylor not far behind her. One surprising thing happened in that one moment.

Skylor's eyes opened fully, but they weren't their usual green color, but glowing light blue.

In her state, she sat in a meditation position and slammed her fists together, a sphere of air creating itself around both Skylor and Amber. And then the air sphere froze into ice, keeping the two alive and safe.

For the next century...

Skylor woke abruptly, shaking from the nightmare she had. To her at that moment, it felt real.

"You okay?" Nya asked from outside the tent.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine," Skylor smiled.

"Okay then. Everyone's outside waiting to meet you," Nya spoke.

Skylor got herself up from the ground, dusting herself off as Nya suddenly grabbed her arm and dragged her outside.

Alice was off to the side of the tent, sharpening a piece of ice as the two exited the tent.

Nya stopped and let go of Skylor as they were in front of everyone in the small village.

"This is the entire village," Nya smiled, facing the few villagers that they still had.

"This is Skylor," Nya introduced the Airbender to the villagers.

Weird stares were directed at Skylor, and she took quick notice, being both concerned and confused.

"Why are they looking at me like that?" Skylor asked.

Misako stepped forward to explain.

"No one's seen an Airbender in 100 years. We thought they were.....in the best word to put it, extinct. Until Alice, Nya, and Jay found you," Misako explained simply.

"'Extinct'?" Skylor paled.

"Off the face of the Earth, kaput, kablooey. You know, whatever you know extinct as," Alice mused from the side, sharpening a second piece of ice.

"Alice..." Misako warned.

"Yeah?" she asked, glancing up. She saw Misako's mom-like glare and immediately looked back down, and looking anywhere else but where Misako was.
