Third person's P.O.V
Skylor looked up proudly at the cleaned and polished Avatar Kyoshi statue.
'There she is. Me in another life' she thought, sighing.
She then glanced over and saw Jay out of the corner of her eye, standing next to a vegetable stand.
She walked over to the stand and tapped Jay on the shoulder.
"Oh, hey. Can you help me carry this to the room? It's a little heavy," Jay asked, picking the basket up for a moment.
"Oh, I can't right now," Skylor denied.
"What do you mean 'you can't'?" Jay asked, tilting his head to the side.
"I promised to give some people a ride on Amber. Why don't you come with us? It'll be fun," Skylor explained.
"And here I thought that you weren't going to show off," Jay shook his head.
"I'm not," Skylor said.
"Sure, cause giving people rides on Amber's not showing off," Jay rolled his eyes.
"What's the basket for anyway?" Skylor asked.
"I'm helping Nya pack for the trip. We really can't stay for too long. It's dangerous," he replied.
"I don't want to leave yet. I can't put my finger on it, but I like it here," Skylor mused.
Jay shook his head, finished packing the basket. He then picked it up in his arms and walked away.
Skylor was dragged away by a male that passed by, presumably someone who was getting a ride on Amber.
Elsewhere
Alice stood outside the building, kicking a rock. She doesn't want to do this, but it's come down to it.
Looking towards the open door, she swallowed. Both her pride and her dignity.
The girls stopped practicing once Alice walked in.
"Uh, hey, Pixal?" Alice said nervously.
"Hoping for another 'dance lesson'?" Pixal, the leader of the group, asked.
"I - no - well, I -" Alice gulped under her nerves.
She's never been like this before and she doesn't like it one bit.
"Just say it. What do you want?" Pixal said.
Alice sighed. She kneeled in front of them all, head hung low.
"I would be honored if you could teach me," she said.
"We normally don't allow outsiders..."
"I won't let you down, I promise," Alice pleaded.
"All right, but you have to follow all of our traditions," Pixal agreed.
"Of course," Alice nodded.
"And I mean all of them," Pixal emphasized.
A few minutes later, Pixal stood by Alice, who was in traditional Kyoshi warrior clothing.
'There goes the rest of my dignity' Alice looked over herself.
"I feel girly and I don't like it," she complained.
"It's a warrior's uniform. You should be proud. The silk symbolizes the brave blood that flows through our veins. The gold insignia represents the honor of the warrior's heart," Pixal explained.
