PEDRO! The chicken is one of the only things I like about seasons 8 and up, the new relationship between Sensei Wu and the ninja, and of course, Jay. Jay's my bby in whatever season.

Let me enlighten you all about Pedro.

Well, it all started in a roleplay in Discord. I had a tulpa with the beautiful electro chicken, and hastily gave him the name of Pedro. Everyone in my friend group has called the chicken Pedro ever since. It's canon to us 😂

Anyway, story aside, let's get to the real story since you have background on why I called the chicken Pedro!

Third person's P.OV

"So two 16-year-olds, one with little to no Airbender training, bested you and your Firebenders. Looks like you're more pathetic than I originally thought," Commander Clouse summed up.

"I underestimated them once, but it will not happen again," Kai spoke.

"No, it will not, because you won't have another chance," Clouse agreed.

"I've been hunting the Avatar for two years and I-" Kai started to protest.

"And you've failed!" Clouse spun around, making a trail from his hand with fire as he did so.

"Seizing the Avatar is much too important for a teenager to handle. I'll catch them myself," Clouse stood in front of where Kai was sitting.

Kai tried to push himself up and tackle Clouse, but the two Firebenders that stood behind his seat held him back.

"Keep them here," Clouse ordered the two, turning to leave the tent.

In his anger, Kai kicked the nearest thing to him over, which just so happened to be the table that sat the tea.

"More tea please," Garmadon said, resulting in Kai looking at him weirdly.

Elsewhere

In the light of the hallway that shone into the dark room, the four saw what lied inside.

"Statues?" Alice investigated one of the detailed statues.

"Who are these people?" Jay asked, looking around at them all.

"I'm not sure, but I get the sense that I know them," Skylor replied.

"Look, that one's an Airbender!" Jay pointed to the statue in front of him and Skylor.

"This one's a Waterbender," Nya pointed to the one in front of her.

"They're in a pattern. Air, Water, Earth, and Fire," she pointed to each statue in front of them.

"Of course! These are past Avatars. My past lives," Skylor remembered.

"Past lives?" Alice asked, coming up to Jay and Nya as Skylor left.

"When the Avatar dies, they are reincarnated into the next element in the cycle," Nya explained.

Alice looked skeptical about believing that, but didn't say anything about it.

Skylor stood in front of the last statue in the room, staring at him.

It was hard to tell what element he was born into. He wore a robe, with designs of each of the four elements and held a staff in one of his hands. He also had a long beard and a big circular hat.

"Sky," Jay snapped his fingers in front of her face, snapping Skylor out of her daze.

"Hmm? What?" she asked.
