~Recap~
I was walking to the restroom, looking at my feet like I always do until I ran into something hard...

~KITTY POV~

I fell to the ground on my butt, ouch, as I got up I was apologizing over and over again "I'm so so so so sorry, I wasn't looking where I wa-" I was cut off when they started yelling at me.

"WHAT THE FUCK YOU FREAK! HOW DO YOU EVEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO SPEAK TO ME?! HUH? YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO THE FREAK HOLE YOU CAME FROM!" Dixie screamed. Just my luck, Dixie Louis, a huge bitch and the 'hottest and most popular girl in the highschool'

"HEY!" I heard an unfamiliar voice yell from behind me. I didn't look back I just looked at Dixie who was looking behind me. I looked into her eyes and saw fear and lust all in one.

I just stood there, shaking, until I felt a rather large hand on my shoulder. When the hand touched my shoulder I jumped and looked up, with fear written all over my face.

It was a boy, he looked about a foot and a half taller than me (A/N to give you a thought on his height, she is 5'4") Dixie just stood there and smirked at him looking him up and down. I understand why, he was about 6'7" looking, had piercing brown eyes that almost looked black, and he also had black hair that was up in a quiff under a beanie. He was an amazingly tan, had perfect facial features and looked very buff in his black and white plaid shirt that he had the sleeves folded up perfectly in. He was also wearing black skinny jeans, black vans, and a grey Calvin Klein beanie.

"Mhm," Dixie breathed.

"Leave," The boy stated

"Not until I'm done with her, and you give me your number," She stated

"Leave," He said again, his deep voice full of anger. Which, honestly frightened me. Dixie just rolled her eyes and walked away.

I stood there, frightened to speak assuming he'd still be angry. But surprisingly, looked me straight in the eyes, his face full of concern and sympathy. "Are you okay?? Did she hurt you?" He asked sounding scared for the answer.

"I -I'm fine," I said barely above a whisper.

"Hey," he paused "Are you sure? You don't sound alright,"

"Ye-yeah this normally happens when I don't pay full attention to my surroundings..." I said once again, barely above a whisper.

"Okay, by the way I'm Derrick." He smiled. Dang I am almost a hundred percent sure this boy is perfect, his teeth are so white and straight.

"Kitty." I said this time in my normal voice.

"Hmm, Kitty." He paused stroking his chin "I like it." He said, in a way that made me giggle. Ugh, I hate my laugh, and giggle. I sound like a dieing walrus giving birth to a bunch of potatoes. (A/N wtf??)

He just gave me a smile. "So what grade are you in?" I asked

"Sophomore. What about you?" Well he was obviously new, because this is the first I'm seeing him

"Same," I said excitedly. "So what's your schedule I continued?" He handed me his schedule and I grabbed my folded up one from my back pocket and compared our schedules. I'm surprised I haven't ran by now considering how scared I am to talk to people.

"We have band, lunch math, and history together," I said once again excitedly but a little disappointed we didn't have every class together.

"Good," He said with a grin.

"Well, I've got to get going before my study hall teacher yells at me for being gone to long," I said disappointed.

"Oh," he said plainly "Well I'll see you in band!" He said, and started to walk off but still occasionally looking back at me.

Thank god I didn't really have to pee or else I would've pee'd when I fell on my butt earlier.

I started to head back to class, and once I got in there I sat down in my old spot because Hayes was in the front with his football buddies now. I reached in my pocket for my phone and pulled it out.

I decided to download millions more things like games, social media, photo editing apps, etc.

Surprisingly the bell rang right when I locked my phone. I grabbed my stuff and walked out of the classroom, and headed to the schools basement where the soundproofed band room was. The room had to be in the basement for two reasons. One; because they had no more space on the first and second floor and two; they couldn't have the loud noise of many different instruments distracting the other teens or staff in class or meetings.

As I was heading down there I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and as I was turning something hard hit me in the temple and I fell to the floor.
