One month later....

Gwen's POV

I wake up, finding everything blurry with bright lights shining down on me. After blinking and rubbing my eyes, I find myself in a hospital room, wearing an oxygen mask. Wait, hospital room? Oxygen Mask?

How can this be? Why am I here? Why would I be here? Is there something wrong with me? Am I not healthy?

Well, I certainly feel healthy. In fact, more than healthy. It feels like I have a big load of energy that's about to explode, and right now, I have a huge urge to get out of this bed.

About five minutes later, a nurse walks in. When she sees that I'm awake, her eyes widen. She gasps and smiles.

"You're awake!" she exclaims. "I'll be right back. I promise!"

Really? She's going to leave me here? She could have at least taken the oxygen mask off and then go do whatever she has to do.

Shortly, before I know it, she's back, taking the mask off of me and allowing me to get up. More like, jump up! For a second, I think I scared her, but then she relaxes and says, "Right! The side effect."

"Side effect?" I ask. "Of what?"

 "Your medicine," she simply replies.

"For what? Why do I need medicine? Why am I here?"

 "You don't remember?"

 "No."

 "Do you remember anything?"

"Of course! I remember..." I stop. Peter. It just hit me! Is he okay? The last thing I remember was his battle with Harry at the clock tower.

"You remember what?" the nurse asks.

"Peter Parker. Do you know him?"

 "A little. He seems nice."

 "Where is he?"

 "I don't know exactly but..."

"But what?" I interrupt. "How is he? Is he okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, he's fine. Don't worry!"

"Well am I free to go? Can I see him?"

"Just come with me," the nurse says taking my hand and we walk out of the room.

 "Where are we going?"

 "To the computer lab."

 "Huh?"

"This place isn't just a hospital."

"Well why are we going to the computer lab?"

"Nick's orders. He wants you to watch a video. To jog your memory."

"Jog what memory? And who's Nick?"

"You'll find out," is all she says.

"K, but can I go see Peter after the video?" I ask

 "Um yeah."

 "What?"

 "I mean yeah. Yes."

"Good!" I exclaim running into the room since it's right in front of us, and I still have a lot of energy inside of me. I just want to get this done and over with so that I can see Peter.

But as soon as I enter the room, I wish I hadn't.
