Hey guys! As you can see, Becoming Mary Jane has come to an end. I know I've just started this but like I said, this is a mini prequel.
Now you're probably wondering, "Girl, why the cliffhanger?" Well, if you were smart and read TASM3 first, even though this is a prequel, you would know what happens next. Therefore, I don't need to rewrite my story.
Having Gwen bump into Peter was the perfect ending to me because we already read that scene in Peter's POV in TASM3, so I thought it would be interesting to read it in Gwen's perspective this time. I wanted it to be a hopeful ending. I couldn't have just ended it with Gwen being all depressed. I mean, hope is the theme, after all.
Now, I want to share the meaning of this story to you. First of all, we all know how Peter felt when he thought Gwen died, so I thought it was important for you guys to understand how Gwen's been feeling all this time. They both went through a very hard time dealing with the fact that they were apart from each other, thinking that it would be forever. Little did they know, they'd meet again some day at Oxford, SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ TASM3- and eventually start their own family together. Hey, if you read that spoiler, not knowing that, then that's your fault since I warned you and that you decided to read this one first.
Back to the point. Gwen's graduation speech says, "We all have dark days ahead of us," which is so true. All of us go through hard times at least once in awhile. Even Gwen herself suffered. Imagine, being kept away from everyone you love for a year, and on top of that, they've been all told that you were dead. You know how crazy it must have been? You know how depressing that was for her? I don't think there's a big enough word to describe the crap that she's been through. But that didn't stop her from holding on to hope.
Hope is a very important thing to have in life. It's not healthy to live without it. Here's the thing though. "Where can you find real hope?" you may ask yourself. The answer is simply Jesus. I know Peter and Gwen found hope in each other in my story, but that's only a fictional illustration. No matter how much you may love someone and how much they may love you back, they'll end up hurting you, and you'll hurt them, even if it's unintentional. Jesus, therefore, will never hurt you. He'll never leave you. He just loves. He loves, loves, and loves each and everyone of us. That's why He payed the price for us and died on that cross for our sins. But it doesn't end there. Three days later, He rose from the dead, the greatest miracle He's ever done! He's alive. God is not dead *breaks out into song* (sorry, had to). No, but there's actually a song by the Newsboys called, "God's Not Dead". If you haven't listened to it, I 100% recommend it. It's also a movie that I 100% recommend as well.
Anyways, the price is already payed. All you have to do is pray to Jesus to confess that you're a sinner, accept Him as your personal Savior, and ask Him to come into your life. That's all you have to do. Trust me, doing good deeds isn't what saves you. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact me in the comments below, on my message board, or of course private message me. I am proud to say that I have gave my life to Jesus, and let me just say, it's the best decision I've ever made!
So, if you haven't read TASM3, then I suggest you read that ASAP. Those of you have already read that, then you can look forward to my upcoming stories, A Very Merry Gweter Christmas, Engaged: No Matter What, and The Not-So Amazing Spider-Girl.
Well thank you so much for all of the support you've been giving me so far through this series. You have no idea how much that means to me! Well I posted, A Very Merry Gweter Christmas, so I hope to see you guys in my Christmas one shot. I love you all so much <3
