(Okay so this chapter is back in the present now! So everyone is the regular age and it s going to start off right after the chapter "This Weird Feeling". Sorry if you get confused! >////<)
(Byleth's POV)
"Sensei, can you teach me this one more time please?" Caspar asked me. I walked over to him and stood in the stance that Caspar tried to do. "Here you have to move your arm a little forward-yes just like that then move your hand up a little-perfect." Caspar smiled as he stood upright again, "Thank you Sensei!" Caspar smiled.
I nodded and was about to go to Linhardt when Edelgard caught my attention, who was talking to Petra. I sighed as she walked away from Petra, it's been about a week sense she and I had that conversation on the balcony...but she still hasn't been talking to me...
"Sensei?!" I turned to see Dorothea standing next to me, "Lady Reha requests you. She's at the church." Dorothea sighed. I nodded and looked back at my class, "Everyone just keep practicing, I will be right back." I then ran out of the hallway and up the stairs to the church, what could Lady Reha want with me?
-TIME SKIP-
"Oh, Professor Byleth your right on time." I walked out on the balcony to see Lady Reha smiling at me. "I wanted to talk to you about Edelgard," she said with a sigh. "it seems that my fellow colleagues agree that she must be having trouble with something. She doesn't seem like her normal self at all.." I sighed as she turned to me, "Please professor if you don't mind asking her?" I nodded and Lady Reha smiled. "Excellent, you may leave now. Thank you for your time professor." I nodded and left the room.
I growled in frustration, again I had to have this conversation with someone! Almost every teacher has asked me about Edelgard...but I can never give them a good answer. She's always ignoring me! I turned the last corner to the stairs but then I stopped....someone was down the stairs....Edelgard..
(Edelgard's POV)
I sighed as I held Byleth's book tightly in my hands, why did it have to be like this?" Dorothea asked me to give this to Byleth but trust me...I really don't want to talk to him right now at all. I sighed and turned to the stairs to see Byleth staring down at me, "E-Edelgard what are you doing here?" he asked coming down the stairs.
I moved back and handed him the book, "H-here this is your's.." I said trying not to look him straight in the eye. He grabbed the book, but then to my surprise took my hand and pulled me to him. "H-Huh?!" I cried in embarrassment. I looked up at Byleth who had a very serious face on, "Edelgard, please just tell me what is wrong with you...you are concerning others and myself...please just tell me." I shook my head and pushed my body away from him.
"NO! I'm fine! Just stop asking!" Byleth growled, "Then why are you acting so weird!? Your classmates and teachers are all asking about you!" I felt myself going on the verge to tears.
"W-WELL! What do you care, your just here because you saved me! You have no teaching skills of any kind! You were just chosen for your action NOT YOUR SKILLS!" I gasped as I realized what came out of my mouth, I looked at Byleth who seemed to be...hurt...
"W-wait By-," Byleth turned away and walked down the hallway, "Sure....I guess what you're saying is true. But at least I'm trying." then before turning the corner Byleth sighed, "Your not as I remember you...Elly..." then without another word Byleth left the hallway leaving me alone.....
I fell on my knees and began to cry, what have I done......
(END OF CHAPTER)
(So, sorry if Edelgard sounds a little mean in this one but I had to try and make the story a little juicer somehow..But I hoped that you enjoyed and I will try to work fast on the updates! BYE!)
