(Male Byleth x Edelgard) The Forgotten Past..(COMPLETED)

Reunited...

(Edelgard's POV)

I looked down the hallway for the second time but I still couldn't find Byleth anywhere. I decided to run back to the shops and check but I still couldn't find him....

I ended up just asking anyone I could but still no one had any clue where Byleth was. I was about tl give up hope until a few guards came up to me panting put of breath. "L-Lady Edelgard..professor Byleth was found leaving the monastery about an hour ago." I turned to the guard and began to shake him as if the answers will come out of him.

"Where did he go? How did he leave? Horse, carriage? Hello!?" 

The guard groaned in pain and breathed for a few seconds before finally answering, "He rode on horseback, and a grand overheard him saying he was going to...Silva town? Sorry I just never heard of the name before...are you okay lady Edelgard?"

I began to breathe a little faster as I realized what the guard was telling me..Byleth went back to the village where we grew up.

"Please get me a horse, I need to get to him." The guard nodded and ran to the stable to grab me a horseback. I sighed and looked out into the horizon.

"Byleth....why would you wish to go back there?"

(Byleth's POV)

I steered my horse down a corner and smiled at the sight of a huge cherry blossom tree.

It's been a few years sense I last came here...I was about to sit down until I heard someone crying near the bushes. I peered over and gasped as a bunch of bandits surrounded a little boy.

"P-Please! I don't have no money!" He boy cried as he looked at the men with horror. The men however didn't move and one of them walked up and smiled at the boy, "Oh...well sorry to say this son, but I might as well just kill you." He lifted his sword and was about to strike the boy until I jumped up and blocked the strike....causing me to get slashed at instead.

I groaned from the pain and grabbed my own sword and pointed it at the men. The bandits staggered backwards as I began to try and strike them with my sword. I was able to injured three of them which cause them to run away back into the forest.

"Mister thank you so much!" 

I turned to the boy and patted him on the head, "Alright...go home now..okay." the boy nodded and ran in the opposite direction the bandits did. I groaned in pain as I walked back to the cherry blossom tree and sat down underneath it. I touched the stab wound and noticed the great amount of blood that stained my hands.

"Oh...crap."

(Edelgard's POV)

As I finally turned up on to the hill to go into Silva town, I looked around to see only a few villagers walking around....it was as if the town was deserted. 

I walked around and asked the villagers if they saw Byleth by giving them a description but none of them saw him pass by. I was beginning to worry about the information the guard had given me. Until I noticed a little boy running down from the woods, he looked at me and ran up to me. 

"Hey lady, you wouldn't happen to be looking for some blue haired man...are you?" I turned to the little boy and tried my best to hold back tears. "Why...have you seen a blue haired man around here?" The boy nodded and pointed into the forest, "He's by the big cherry blossom tree." I nodded and ran into the forest.

I could already figure out which cherry blossom tree the boy was talking about....the one that Byleth showed me on that day..

When I made it to the tree I smiled as I saw Byleth's hair. I ran up to him, "Byleth I so happy to-," but I stopped and gasped as I saw Byleth's hand stained with blood. 

I looked on his stomach to see blood spreading in one certain area, he turned to me and smiled. "Hey....you found me..." then he closed his eyes and laid back on the tree clutching his wound tightly with his hand....
