(Sorry just to remind everyone, Edelgard's father is her step-father, I guess. Sorry if it kinda messed up your guys view on the game >//< Please enjoy..)

(Edelgard's POV)

I cried harder as the image of Byleth's face came back to mind, over and over. I finally realized why he's so nice to me...why he always respects me....he's the boy from my visions...The moment he said Elly...everything came back to me...everything...

(Young Edelgard's POV)-(Sorry back to the past like from Pt.5 but 1 year later)-

I ran down the hall past all the maids who had curious expressions as I ran past. I then walked into the kitchen where my breakfast was served, I quickly ate it all and jumped up out of my chair full of energy. It's been about a whole year sense I met up with Byleth, I never met a person who knew how to have fun in times like these. I mean with the war and everything...

"Edelgard? Where are you going?" I turned towards my mother who had a worried expression. "Mother are you alright?" I asked getting a little concerned, my mother smiled, "No, I'm fine are you going back to the village again?" she asked. I nodded and she brought me into a hug..which she's never done before. "Make sure to come back before sundown, I don't want your father finding out about this, oh and here," my mother handed me a small bag, "This is for Byleth and his family, and there's a few coins in there for you to buy a small lunch." I nodded and waved goodbye to my mother.

My father didn't know that I go out to the village everyday, he would've never let me go. He believed that I should try and be the best little girl in the entire kingdom. That I should try to learn every rule and royal duty to the bone...but my mother on the other hand wanted me to be who I wanted to be.

I continued to run past all the shops and houses until I stopped near a small hut by the woods. I knocked on the door which immediately opened to a smiling Byleth. "Hey Elly!" he said calling me the nickname that he came up for me. "Hey Byleth," I smiled handing him the bag of food after grabbing the coins out for my lunch. "here, this is for you and your father." Byleth nodded and took the bag. "Why hello princess," I looked up to see Byleth's father, Jeralt, smiling down at me. "Hi mister Jeralt, my mother wanted to give you some food." Mister Jeralt smiled and knelt down in front of me, "Thank you..." he said with a smile.

After begin fed Byleth waved goodbye to his father and walked out of his house with me. "So, what did you want to do today?" he asked his eyes shinning with delight. I thought for a moment, "Hmmm, I don't know." I said. Byleth looked up at something and smiled, he took my hand and began running past the bustling streets.

"W-wait! Where are we going?!" I asked, Byleth turned around at me and smiled. "I wanted to show you something!" he said as he ran past a  fancy carriage, I turned back to the carriage...I couldn't help but feel like I've seen it before...

"Elly! Come on keep up the pace!" I turned to Byleth, "S-sorry!" I cried running faster. After what seemed an hour of running and bumping into people Byleth finally stopped running giving me a chance to stop and breathe. I massaged my foot, I could feel the heels of my shoes poking at them painfully when we were running, "Here Elly....this is it." I looked up and gasped at the sight. It was a beautiful cherry blossom tree.... and it was huge! There were birds on the branches, the flowers were a pretty light pink color, and all around the tree was nice green grass with flowers that fell form the tree. It honestly looked very beautiful, "Wow...it's so beautiful.." I said with amazement.

"My father said that he and my mother came here before, that's how I learned of it. I've been wanting to show you this for awhile." I nodded and smiled at Byleth. there was silence for a moment until Byleth said, "Say...Elly..can I ask you something?" I turned to him, "Yeah, what's up?" he sighed and turned to me, he looked a little...nervous. "I-I-um well I wanted to know if-I mean-no yeah if you-ummm..." he stopped and looked up at me, I giggled which made him blush. "Oh come on Byleth, just say it. It's rude to keep a lady in waiting." Byleth sighed, "Y-You know that when we-like you know-grow up? Well I was just wondering if you...wouldn't mind meeting me here again when we grow older." I looked at Byleth for a moment hesitating to answer.

I mean of course I would love to do that....but if my father were to know then....

"Just think about it, okay? You can tell me later." I nodded and looked up at the mountains, "Oh shoot look how late it's getting I have to get home." Byleth nodded and helped me up. We began walking back to the village when a whole crowd of people were crowed by the castle. "What the heck is going on?" me and Byleth walked over to see..my Step-father.

He grumbled and groaned as our butler began to ask a few villagers questions, I noticed my mother in a carriage...that looked like...the one from this morning! The butler walked over to my father and whispered something to him, my Step-father made a angry face and yelled. He looked at our butler with rage, "WHERE IS SHE!? I KNOW I SAW MY DAUGHTER WALK PAST HERE!" he yelled causing the butler to stagger backwards. Byleth turned to me, he had a worried expression on his face. I sighed and walked up to my Step-father, Byleth followed quietly behind me.

"F-father...I'm right here..." my Step-father turned to me and grumbled something under his breath. Byleth walked over to the side of me, which my Step-father noticed....

"AND YOU! YOUNG MAN, STAY AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!" Byleth flinched a little but he stood his ground. My mother must've noticed what was going on cause she left the carriage and ran over to my Step-father's side. "Sir, I have done nothing wrong to your daughter and I can promise-," but before he could finish my Step-father sneered at him, "Stay away from her, urchin." Byleth stopped, surprised at my father's remark....

and urchin..it's the most rudest remark that could've ever been named.

"Father!" I yelled defending Byleth, "How could you call him something like that!?" my father sighed and walked up to me, he then slapped me hard across the face. I staggered backward holding the spot where he slapped me, I tried my best to hold back the tears that were forming in my eyes. "You young lady shouldn't be speaking. There is rules in this castle and that is to NOT go to the village without permission! You are a disgrace, not following my orders and meeting with this," he looked at Byleth with disgust, "Urchin. I am disappointed in you Edelgard...very disappointed. Today we are leaving, and I don't care how you feel about it." I couldn't hold it anymore I began to cry.

My mother was about to run to me until my father stopped her, "Edelgard let's go..NOW!" I turned to the village people who were just watching in fear as their king was disciplining their daughter in front of..everyone.

I turned to Byleth who had a mix of anger and sadness in his expression, I didn't want to leave him...not ever...I mouthed "goodbye" to him and walked away up to my father.

My mother walked with me into the carriage and then my father walked in after us. He yelled for the coachman to go, and without hesitation the carriage began to move. I looked out the window at the many faces of the villagers, I then noticed that Byleth was there looking where I was sitting. I looked out and waved to him, he smiled sadly and waved back...

This day marks the beginning of the worse moments in my life....

-BACK TO THE PRESENT-

(Older Edelgard's POV)

I sighed as I finally dried my tears, I stood up slowly and began running in the direction that Byleth went. I knew that from the moment I met him...I loved him. I began running faster past the classrooms and glances from students.

"Byleth..please don't go." I whispered to myself, as I ran into the beautiful sunset with hope that it wasn't too late...
