It had been a month since the boys watched you die in front of them. They all took it hard in different ways. Sam felt as if he lost his best friend, Dean felt like he lost another family member, Cas felt as if he lost his (brother/sister), and Jack felt like he lost another parental figure. It took awhile before any of them could talk about you again.
But tonight at the dinner table, Cas mention how you would have hated them dwelling over your death, you would have wanted them to move on. That was went Jack asked how you all met. Sam was the first to speak. Cas smiles at the memory, while Dean just looked down at his beer. He remembered it as if it was yesterday.
"So, Dean and I are on a case down in Massachusetts it was a vamp case. Easy right? Not so much. Dean and I got capture. We praying to Cas for help, trying to get the rope untied. Next thing we know a gun goes off and there they are. Gun in one hand, katana in the other. (She/he) kicks their butts and that's when Cas decides to show up. (She/he) thinks he a demon and goes to shoot him, only to have Dean shout, scaring them, and nearly shooting him in the foot. All the sudden they're fighting and Cas is untying me. They end up asking if we wanted dinner at a restaurant down the street. (She/he) looks at Dean and goes "you can shout on the way if it helps you any" before just walking away. With that I knew we were going to be great friends"
