I sighed as I looked at the 21st district. I went through 5 months of training and today was my first day at intelligence.
I walked in and went up to the front desk.
"Hey Platt" I said as I walked up to the front desk.
"Hey kiddo" she said.
She reached under the desk and pulled out my gun and badge.
"Here's your gun and badge. Your fingerprint is already in the system so you can buzz yourself in" she said. I nodded and went up to the gate that lead upstairs.
I placed my hand down and the gate buzzed and opened. I walked upstairs and saw everyone here.
"There's our new member" Jay said and came up to me. He hugged me, I laughed and hugged him back.
"Hey jay" I said.
"Zvonecek.. welcome to intelligence" Voight said as he walked out of his office.
I smiled lightly and nodded.
"Your desk is right across from Jay and he will be your partner" Voight said and I nodded. I put my stuff down at my desk and took a seat.

We got a call to a house, the neighbors heard gunshots.
When we pulled up I walked out with Jay. Me and him walked up to the door and I saw it was cracked open.
I looked over at Jay. He pushed the door open and we both pulled out our guns.
"Chicago Pd" Jay said and we walked in.
I walked into the living room and saw nothing.
"Clear" I said.
Jay walked over to the dining room and checked there too.
"Clear" he said. I walked into the kitchen and I saw a man on the ground with a knife in his chest and two gunshot wounds
"Jay" I yelled. I crouched down and felt for a pulse. I felt a small slow pulse.
"He's got a pulse" I said.
"Ok.. I'll get a towel to try to stop the bleeding. Call it in" Jay told me and I nodded.
"This is Officer Zvonecek. I need a ambulance at my location We got a stabbing, victim is unconscious but has a pulse" I said into my radio.
"Copy that officer" dispatch replied back to me.

"Ok. Yeah.. thanks Natalie" I said into the phone and hung up.
"That was Med. he didn't survive. The knife wound was too deep and one of the bullets hit an artery" I said to the group.
"His name is John Wallam. He's 29 with a record of drug possession and robbery" Ruzek said as he put the picture of him up.
"This could be a murder because he stole drugs" Voight said.
"Searched the whole house, no drugs found so unless he has a stash house, this wouldn't be a drug related murder" Burgess said
"Wait I think I got something" I said as I looked at the security cameras.
"Security Cameras across the street picked up movement earlier today.. two men walking towards the house, one goes around back and the other one goes right up front kicks down the door" I said as the video played and everyone watched.
"We just gotta figure out who these boys are" voight said.
"I'm running them through facial recognition right now" Upton said as she typed on her computer.
"I got it.. Jose Hernandez and Juan Lopez.. both charged with drug possession, illegal weapon And armed robbery" Upton said.
"Address?" Voight asked
"Uhh .. yep" Upton said looking over at Hank.
"Hit it" he said and we all got suited up.

We walked up to the house we were given.
"Ready?" Voight asked and we all nodded.
"Chicago PD!" Atwater said as he broke down the door.
We all walked in guns raised. We searched the bottom half of the house and it was clear.
I walked towards the stairs. "Jay cover me" i asked him and jay followed me as we both went up the stairs.
I walked into the first room and saw our two guys.
"Chicago Pd put your hands up now" I yelled.
Jose put his hands up but Juan made a run for it and jumped out the window.
"Stay here!" I yelled and ran after Juan.
I ran down an alley way and didn't see Jose.
I put my gun up and walked slowly. I suddenly was pushed against the wall by Jose. I struggled against him.
He punched me in the face repeatedly and then punched me in the stomach he reached for his gun in his pocket when I kneed him where the sun doesn't shine. He yelled in pain and dropped the gun. I kicked it away and punched him in the face and he fell to the ground, I pointed my gun right at his face.
"Don't move or I swear I will light your ass up!" I yelled at him.
I saw Hank and Jay ran up to me.
"Amy you good?" Voight asked me.
"I'm good" I said. Jay went over to Jose and cuffed him.
Hank came over to me and patted me on the shoulder as I put my gun back in my holster and we walked back to the car.

I walked in the apartment and closed the door. I walked over to our room and saw Otis laying in bed.
I sighed and got changed out of my outfit and into pajamas. After I changed I walked into the bathroom and took the pregnancy test out of my purse.
I opened the package and peed on the stick. I set a timer up on my phone and waited.
"A.. are you in there?" Otis asked as he knocked on the door. I must of woke him up when i closed the bathroom door.
"Uh yeah I'm just finishing get dressed for bed" I said back. I heard footsteps leaving the bathroom. I let out a sigh.
I then jumped in surprise as the alarm went off. I held my chest and turned the alarm off. My leg started shaking as I picked up the stick.
Pregnant
My breath stopped in my throat. I'm pregnant.
I smiled lightly, me and Otis wanted kids... but I just started a new job. How am I gonna tell Hank.. how am I gonna tell the commissioner!
I signed and hid the test under the sink and thought about telling Brian tomorrow.
I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I walked out of the room and laid in bed.
"Goodnight Amy" Brian said as he turned to me and pulled me closer.
"Goodnight B" I said and kissed his head and started to play with his hair.
