"Yo man, good sales today. We sold lots of coffee today!- Adam
"Thanks,"- Shawn
Shawn cleans up around the store.
"Well, it's 8' o clock. Time for drinks!"- Adam
"Nah, not today. I have not gotten any sleep, i'm gonna go home."-Shawn
"Wow loser!"-Adam
Adam walks with the rest of his coworkers to a bar near their job. Shawn just gets in his motorcycle and goes home.
Suddenly, Shawn gets a phone call and shrugs.
"What?"-Shawn
"Why do you talk to me like that?"-Shawn's mom
"You know why. So why are you calling me?"-Shawn
"I heard you went out with Ashley again. Are you guys back together? Because I know you guys are meant for each other."-Shawn's mom
"No what- Where did you hear that from?" -Shawn
"Well, she called me. She seemed very happy."-Shawn's mom
"What? No we are not getting back together. I- I need to go"- Shawn
Ashley is Shawn's ex. They are always on and off, always breaking up but end up back together. Recently, they went out for lunch but it was because Shawn wanted to end things officially. However, Ashley does not want to give up on their relationship.
Shawn throws his phone on the couch, and lays on his bed. He receives a new text message.
Ashley: I miss you
Shawn just rolls his eyes and ignores her message.
