"Ashley what are you doing here,?"-Shawn
"I want to talk to you"-Ashley

"About what?"-Shawn

"Please, it's important"-Ashley
"Fine"-Shawn

Ashley sits in his couch and Shawn looks at her confused.

"What is it?"-Shawn
"I did something"-Ashley

"What?"-Shawn

"I kind of told my parents that we are back together and told them that we are having dinner with your family"-Ashley

"What the hell is wrong with you?"-Shawn
"I'm sorry, I-..."-Ashley

"You're not sorry, you know what you're doing."-Shawn

"Well you can't back out of it now, you're parents know, so we are having dinner tonight at your parents house"-Ashley

"I can't believe you"-Shawn
"So i'll see you tonight"-Ashley

"Whatever get out"-Shawn

Ashley walks out of his apartment with a smile on her face. Shawn calls his parents.

"I'm not going"

"I don't care, she's lying to you guys. We are not together"

"Whatever bye"

Right when he ended the call, Camila calls him

"Hey Mendes"-Camila
"Hey"-Shawn
"You okay?"-Camila
"No"-Shawn
"Did I do something wrong?"-Camila
"What? No you did nothing wrong i'm just dealing with some things. I'm sorry"-Shawn
"Oh, sorry should I call you later?"-Camila
"Yeah, i'll call you back in a hour?"-Shawn
"Okay bye"-Camila

Shawn didn't want to tell her about Ashley, because he knew it will bring her into drama.

Later on, Shawn calls Camila back and lies to her that he has to meet his parents for dinner again, not mentioning Ashley. Shawn gets ready for the dinner and drives to his parents house.

Ashley: Where are you?
Shawn: On my way.
Ashley: We are almost here.
Shawn: K.

Shawn finally gets there and greets Ashley and her family. They all sat down at the dinner table.

"So how you guys been?"-Shawn's mom

"We've been great, how about you guys?"-Ashley's mom

"We are doing well. Isn't this crazy"-Shawn's mom

"Oh very, we are happy for you two"-Ashley's mom

Shawn gave them a fake smile, they continued to talk about how they are meant for each other. Then they talked about work things, Shawn didn't say a word through the whole dinner. He looked at his phone the whole time, then he receives a text.

Camila: Save me, and i'll save you!

Shawn laughs and Ashley just gives him a look.

"Who are you texting?"-Ashley

"No one"-Shawn

Shawn texts Camila through the night, while Ashley was upset about it.

"Omg you two can finally go together for the Thanksgiving Ball this year, how exciting"-Ashley's mom

"What?"-Shawn

"Yes, i'm so excited"-Ashley

Shawn is even more upset that he has to take her to the ball. As dinner finishes, they all say their goodbyes and Shawn leaves quickly.

Shawn: Meet you in 5 minutes?
Camila: Okay :)

He arrives at her place.

"Hey how was dinner?"-Camila

"Bad like always"-Shawn

"Oh i'm sorry, come in"-Camila

They sat in the living room, and Camila randomly asks Shawn a question.

"Hey so are you going to the Thanksgiving Ball?"-Camila

"Oh probably not, you?"-Shawn

"Yeah I'm going with Austin"-Camila

"Why? If the marriage was called off?"-Shawn

"It is, but I felt bad so I said yes to him. Would you have gone if I wasn't going with Austin?"-Camila

"Mm probably not, I don't do dances"-Shawn

"Oh okay"-Camila

Shawn felt really bad, because he is lying to her. Camila's dad walks in.

"Shawn? Hey"-Mr.Cabello
"Hey Mr.Cabello, can we talk?"-Shawn
"Of course, come on"-Mr.Cabello

Shawn excuses himself from Camila and they walk into his office. Shawn tells him that he hasn't had time to decide because of issues with his family that he is dealing with right now.

"It's fine, i'll give you until the Thanksgiving Ball to decide, which is 5 days."-Mr.Cabello

"Yes sir, thank you"-Shawn

They walk out the office and Shawn sits next to Camila.

"Everything okay?"-Camila
"Yeah"-Shawn smiles

Camila's dad orders food and they all ate dinner together, Shawn eventually leaves home.

3 days passed and Camila and Shawn haven't talked since that day he came over. Camila thinks Shawn is ignoring her, and is upset about it. Shawn is scared to tell her about Ashley, and about going to Thanksgiving Ball with her.

Austin: Thanks for being my date.
Camila: No problem.

Camila tries to text Shawn again and see if he would answer, but nothing.

"Is he upset that I'm going with Austin to the ball?"
