I'm Ready For The Next Step

Camila's family left back to Miami, and in a few days it's New Year Eve!

Camila: Hey Shawnito, did you hear the news?
Shawn: What news?
Camila: My dad talked to your parents, and I think they talked it out, so my dad invited them to our New Year's eve party!
Shawn: No way? No wonder they are in a good mood right, let's see if they tell me anything about it :)
Camila: Okay :)

Later on, Shawn texts Camila back.

Shawn: So, I guess they fixed their differences!
Camila: They're okay now!!!
Shawn: Yes :)
Camila: I'm glad!
Shawn: I can't wait for you to properly meet them on New Years!
Camila: I'm nervous now.

5 minutes passed and he hasn't responded, then she gets a knock on her door.

"Why are you nervous?"-Shawn
"What the hell, you scared me"-Camila

"I'm sorry, I wanted to surprise you"-Shawn

Shawn walks to her and gives her a hug.

"What were you doing?"-Shawn smiles

"I was texting you, and then you stopped replying so I got scared"-Camila frowns

"I'm sorry"-Shawn

He wraps his arms around her and kisses her on the cheek.

"Hey are you busy later?"-Shawn
"No, why?"-Camila

"Good, lets go out for dinner"-Shawn
"Okay"-Camila smiles

"Well I have to go back to the office, and i'll pick you later yeah?"-Shawn

"Yeah okay"-Camila smiles

He gives her a hug and walks out her room.

Later on that night, Shawn gets ready and picks Camila up.

"I'll get Camila"-Anderson smiles
"Thanks Anderson"-Shawn shouts

He gets out the car and waits for her by the door.

"Hi"-Camila smiles
"Uh hi, you look amazing"-Shawn

"Thank you, you look amazing"-Camila smiles

He gets her in the car closes the door, then he gets in and drives to the restaurant. 15 minutes they arrive.

"Reservation for Shawn Mendes"-Shawn
"Wow fancy"-Camila

"Okay, right this way"-Waiter

They sat in a booth, and ordered their food.

"This place is beautiful"-Camila smiles
"Just like you"-Shawn smiles

"Stop"-Camila whines

Shawn laughs,

"So, I wanted to ask you something"-Shawn
"What is it?"-Camila

"Well-.."-Shawn

"Here is the food, the pasta is still making, should be ready in 5 minutes"-Waiter

"Okay thank you"-Shawn

The waiter leaves, and then Shawn tries again.

"As I was saying, since New Year's eve is coming up and your dad is hosting it. I was wondering if you wanted to be my date to the party"-Shawn

Camila noticed he was nervous, so he grabs his hand.

"Of course i'll be your date"-Camila smiles

"Really?"-Shawn
"Yes"- Camila

"Okay cool"-Shawn smiles

15 minutes, they finished their food and they head out.

"Let's go to the pier?"-Shawn
"Sure"- Camila

They walk towards the pier, suddenly Camila grabs his hand and squeezes it. Shawn looks down at their hands and smiles.

They decide to walk towards the beach, and sit on the sand. Camila doesn't let go of his hand and rest her head on his shoulder.

"Do you remember what happened here?"-Shawn

"Nope, do you?"-Camila smirks

"Yeah, right over there you kissed me"-Shawn

"No way?"-Camila

"Yup, then I kissed you back. It was the best day of my life. I literally didn't sleep that night because i kept replaying what happened in my head, I was like the girl I really like kissed me"-Shawn

Camila looks at him without saying a word. Shawn looks back at her, grabs her cheek and get closer and closer to where he closes the gap between them, kissing her passionately.

"Shawn?"-Camila
"Yeah?"-Shawn

"I think i'm ready"-Camila
"Ready? As in?"-Shawn

"Being in a relationship with you"-Camila

"As in like boyfriend and girlfriend?"-Shawn
"Yes"-Camila whispers

Shawn gets up and runs towards the water screaming,

"Camila wants to be in a relationship with me!!!"-Shawn

Camila watches him go crazy,

"Shawn, stop"-Camila giggles

Shawn walks back to Camila, and sits down next to her.

"Come here"-Camila
"What?"-Shawn

She grabs his face and gives him a short kiss, then whispers in his ear,

"I'll be waiting for you to ask me to be your girlfriend"-Camila

"Oh don't worry, I know how I will do it, just wait on it"-Shawn smiles
