Estelle's POV:
I buried my head into Jonathan's chest as I cried. I didn't even care he was shirtless, I just needed someone to hold me.
"Call Kammie, Nicki, Mia, and Lexi," I told Jonathan.
"What? Why?" He asked.
I could feel his chest vibrate as he spoke. "Because I need my best friends too, and they're the only ones I trust with Jace," I replied, "I need to show you something.

Kammie's POV:
I pulled up in the drive way, and quickly got out of my car. Running up the steps, I stubbed my toe on the concrete.
"Shiz!" I yelled. I cradled my foot, until the pain dulled. I ran the rest of the way up and pulled my keys out, looking for the turquoise and purple one. I shoved the key into the key hole, later ramming my shoulder in the door.
"Estelle!" I yelled.
"How the hell did you get in here?!" asked a half naked boy.
"It's not like I have a key or anything," I said sarcastically dangling it from my hand. "And I should be asking you the same question." I narrowed my eyes at him.
He sighed and pointed his thumb to the music room. "She's in there."
"I know. You think I'm stupid? She practically lives in there!" I said laughing and walking past him.
Before I entered I pushed my ear up against the door listening for what instrument she was playing.
"What-"
"Shut up." I interrupted him.
I could here the soft strokes of her fingers on her Sweetwater banjo. I rolled my eyes and slid down the side of the door. That was the last gift her mom gave her before she died, it was the only thing she wanted that year.
"You mind telling me who you are! And putting a shirt on!" I yelled at the boy.
"I'm in three of your classes and I'm new at school. And fine, I'll be right back," he said running up the stairs.
"Oh yeah, hi Jonathan!" I yelled as he came down the steps again wearing a blue shirt.

Estelle's POV:
I strummed the last cord of Bill Monroe's Ballad when I heard Kammie yelling. Rolling my eyes I pulled the red and black strap over my head, and sat my banjo carefully back on the stand. I opened the door and Kammie fell on her back into the music room.
"Ow, shiz. Give me a warning next time?" she asked me. Laughing I shook my head and shrugged my shoulders.
I looked up and saw Jonathan leaning on the wall shaking lightly with laughter.
"Estelle I have a question for you. How did she get in here?!" He asked.
I looked at him as if he were stupid. "She has a key. Duh. Oh and speaking of keys, I need mine back to the barn."
She stared at me in disbelief, "And why would I do that? Last time I let you have full control over the key, you rode Shandi."
"I know, I know, but now I have my own horse and I'll ride him. Not Shandi." I pleaded.
"Fine, but I'm coming with you." She replied.
"Why?" Asked Jonathan surprised.
We stared at him in disbelief. "My barn, my horse, I'm going," she said.
"Estelle!" Yelled a chorus of voices.
"Mia, Lexi, I need you to watch Jace. Nicki he has math homework can you help him?"
"But-"
"Thanks!" I said closing the door. "love you guys!"
