Kammie's POV:
Tamere came out of the woods at a gallop looking particularly happy, so I assumed he threw Jonathan off. Crystal and I rode along the trail for about a half an hour, and when we came back Estelle and Jonathan were still not back.
"You think someone kidnapped em'!" Said Crystal.
I rolled my eyes and jabbed my elbow into her ribs. "If someone kidnapped them, Blue would be busting his butt out of there."
We waited for another ten minutes, when they finally came out on Chasing Blue. I expected to see Estelle sitting in the front with Jonathan sitting behind her, but it was completely opposite. Jonathan was sitting in the front with Estelle sitting in the back, arms wrapped around his waist and her head resting again his back. As they got closer I saw she was asleep.
"What happened to her?" Asked Crystal.
"She just fell asleep as we rode out of the woods," Jonathan said smiling.
Something was up. I can see right through a person when they talk about Estelle.
"Estelle! Wake up!" I yelled, and she bolted up and almost fell off the horse. Laughing I rode over to her. "You're riding with me back to the barn. Get on."
She hooked her foot in the left stirrup and swung her leg over to get on Shandi.
"Where's Tamere?" Asked Estelle as we rode back.
"Don't mind about him. What'd you and Jonathan do for forty minutes?"
She smiled her devious smile. "Nothing." was what she said.
"Yeah, I don't believe you. Tell the truth. What did you and him do for forty minutes in the woods? Where your mother is buried."
She caught her breath. "I showed him."
"You what!?" I stopped Shandi and turned my torso around to face her. "You just met him! Estelle, you can't just go around showing people that!"
"Kammie, I trust him. He's not just some person. He's not my dad." she said looking down at her feet.
I rubbed my temples trying to calm myself down. "What else happened? I'm your best friend I know something else happened."
She sighed and looked me straight in the eye. "He kissed me."
I couldn't breath. She was joking, she just wanted to see my reaction. When I look up I saw her face was straight, she was serious. I turned around and told Shandi to gallop.
I'm gonna kill that boy.
