"Lizzie, my mom isn't gonna buy this lie for long." Summer's voice was quiet as her and Lizzie stood in the bathroom after Summer had thrown up once again. They'd managed to sneak away from the after party with few people noticing.

"Summer, I'm literally lying to your mom for you. What else do you want me to say?"

"I don't kno-"

Summer's head snapped to the right as her mom walked into the bathroom, walking over to her daughter.

"Honey, you can go back to the hotel if you don't feel good."

Summer just shook her head, "Mom, I'm fine. I just ate something bad, it's not a big deal."

Scarlett shared a look with Lizzie before turning back to her daughter. Summer could tell she wasn't totally believing this, but had kept her mouth shut.

"If you say so, just let me know if you want to leave, ok?"

Summer nodded as she watched her mom leave.

"Summer, you need to tell her. You can't keep this from her forever."

"I know, Lizzie. But now is not the time."
