"Are you sure this will be a good idea?"
The blade missed his shoulder by not more than a few centimetres, close enough that he could feel his buzzing.

Focus on the fight.

"No, but somebody has to do it."

A quick step back to dodge the next attack.

He raised his own sword and blocked another one. Both parts of the duel moved quietly, almost without a sound, making it easier to understand Sjarms voice coming from behind him. He knew he wouldn't have the benefit of a silently fight like that when it came to a confrontation.
He wanted to get used to it, not missing any important information Zariel might tell him, knowing his trouble with hearing.

"But why you? Why does it have to be you?"

The question came not from behind him, but from the smaller person in front of him. Iluq had stopped their attacks and now just stood there, the double bladed lightsaber glowing calmly at their side.
He let his own sword sink as well and deactivated it. The humming in his ears disappeared, Iluq's lightsaber was too low for him to hear, but now their voice was more clear to him.
"Because I already know him. I know how he... acts. How he fights."

... and because I feel guilty.

Hoping the little Tognath wouldn't get suspicious - they had shown an impressive talent and sensing other people's true feelings - he sighed and attached his weapon to his belt again.
"But you have to promise us to be careful." He couldn't hear Sjarms footsteps as came closer, but he senses his friend's presence approaching and a few moments later someone wrapped his arms around him.

"I promise, I will be careful."
