"Guys, what's going on?" Emma asks as the earth shakes.
"I don't know...is it an earthquake?" Henry asks.
"No it can't be! Earthquakes don't happen in Houston!" Alex responds.
Then the earth stops shaking.
"Hmm...does anyone have some sort of weather balloon or something like that?" Aidan asks the group.
"I think Fran might have one..." Kevin responded.
"Alright let's go there!" Henry told everyone.
As such, they were making their way over to Francisco's house.
...
"Woo-hoo! We did it! I can already feel the temperature being a little warmer already!" Dr. Steve shouted in huge delight.
"Yep!" Benito responded.
"Say, I have to go to a meeting with the science organization that I'm in, how about you come with me to the meeting, so we can explain on how we moved earth closer to the sun!"
"Ok, sure."
Dr. Steve and Benito made their way out of the lab and started heading over to the meeting.
...
Eventually, the group made their way over to Fran's house and knocked on his door.
"Oh, hey guys, what's up?" Fran greeted.
"You have a weather balloon, right?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"Because I'm sure you felt the earth shaking earlier, and we are wondering if it did something with the weather."
Sophia then looks at the sun.
"Uh, guys, I think it did change the weather. The sun seems to be bigger than usual!" Sophia pointed out.
Fran then rushes in to set up his weather balloon outside.
...
It turns out that both Madelyn and Lindsey were visiting Logan for Christmas up in Dallas. The three were heading outside to play with Logan's younger siblings.
"Woah, what happened to winter?" Madelyn asks, realizing the sudden change of temperature.
"I don't know, perhaps the season has changed, or else we're going to have a hot Christmas like what we had a few years ago," Lindsey responds.
"Lolo! Look! Birds!" Logan's youngest sibling exclaimed.
They noticed the birds up in the sky.
"Ok, so I think it changed from winter to spring!" Lindsey concluded.
"NOOOOO! Not winter! I absolutely love winter! I hate the heat!" Logan freaked out.
...
"Ok, so it seems like the temperature is increasing! It seemed to increase somewhere around ten to twenty degrees!" Fran stated.
"Yeah, I know." Emma said with a sassy look.
"How do you know?" Aidan asked her.
"Because y'all know that y'all can pull up the weather on y'all's phones, right?"
"Yeah...but this was more fun, right?" Alex asked.
"...Yeah I guess so..."
"Guys! Look!" Madison pointed at the sky.
They all looked up, and saw a whole lot of birds.
"It's migration!" Kevin stated.
"Yeah, but why so early?" Madison then asks.
"It seems like winter...has turned into spring!" Henry concluded.
