Chapter 6: Summer Vacation

"Ok guys, it took a while, but it's finished!" Alex announced to everyone.

"Now, all we need is one, or two, brave souls to be astronauts." The missions control leader stated.

There was a big silence across the room.

"I'll do it," Henry finally said.

"Henry, are you sure?" Madison asked.

"I'm positive."

"Ok...if you say so, but allow me or someone else to come with you."

"I'll go with you," Aidan said.

"Alright then, it's settled. Now we just need to get you two changed and we'll be ready to go!" The mission control leader stated.

So Aidan and Henry went to the changing room to get changed into astronaut suits.

...

"Good thing we bought the last container of rocket fuel!" Logan said.

"Yeah, or else we wouldn't be any help at all!" Lindsey pointed out.

"Can we do this tomorrow? It's getting kind of late, like, ten-thirty P.M." Madelyn asked them.

"...Yeah I suppose so," Logan then responds.

They went up to their rooms, put on their pajamas, and went to bed.

...

"Hey guys! I found this wheel thing that can push heavy things!" One of the scientists said.

"Okay! Let's use that then! We'll take the elevator!" Dr. Barbeque said.

"Will that even fit in the elevator?" Another one of the scientists asked.

"I hope so..."

...

"Hey Vince, should we head back to the hotel now?" Robert asks him.

"Are you kidding me? Late night casino is when we can win even more money!" Vince tells him.

"Yeah, you got a point."

...

After some changing, Henry and Aidan stepped out of the room, with their astronaut suits on, where everyone else is at.

"One small step for man, one giant push of the earth," Henry stated.

"I don't think that's physically possible..." Emma told him.

"Alright then. One small step for man, one..." Henry can't seem to find something to replace it.

"How about, 'One small step for man, one change in the atmosphere.'" Aidan then told him.

"...Yeah, that works, let's go with that!"

"Ok you two, you guys will be flying your rocket towards Jakarta, Indonesia." The leader of the mission control stated.

"Where on earth is that?" Aidan asked.

"Somewhere on the other side of the world. Basically on one of those small-ish islands in Asia."

Aidan and Henry looked at each other in horror in thinking that this will take a long time.

"Don't worry, with this giga rocket, you two should make it there in no time! Just watch out for that burning hot sun, knowing that it's a lot closer to us!"

"Alright then, let's get going!" Henry said.

"Wait!" Madison said as she ran up to Henry.

Henry was confused. He didn't think she was so concerned about him.
