Chapter 3: The Heat of the Meet

Dr. Steve and Benito made it to the science organization. Benito was going to go inside, but Dr. Steve stopped him for a minute.

"Ok, before we go inside, I should probably give some background information about these guys."

"Ok..." Benito was a little confused,

"So the main guy is called Dr. Barbeque. He is fairly tall, and has barbequed colored hair. Also, all the scientists hate me. They think I'm useless!"

"But you're not!"

"I know, but they don't believe how much worth I have!"

"Well, let's go in and see what happens..."

"Yeah, you're right..."

Dr. Steve sighed as he opened the door. They were greeted by Dr. Barbeque and all the other scientists.

"Ah, there you are! Who's your little friend here? Someone to prove that you are worthy?" Dr. Barbeque joked with him.

"Well, have you all figured out that I was the one who changed the season only by a bit?" Dr. Steve responded to him.

All the scientists gasped at that.

"You...finally made something that was useful?!" Dr. Barbeque then finally had the courage to ask.

"Hey, all of the machines I've built were useful in sort of way! I had a little help with this guy named Benito. He does magic," Dr. Steve stated as he pointed to Benito.

"What kind of magic?"

"Oh, I just did magic to prevent it from overheating," Benito responded to them.

"Oh ok, so Dr. Short, do you have the blueprints?"

"Yes, and it's Dr. Steve, you cooked brain!" Dr. Steve said back.

Dr. Steve, the other scientists, and Benito made their way over to a table so Dr. Steve can show them the blueprints.

"That's surprising... I thought Groundhog Day was not until February!" Aidan responded.

"Does anyone have any ideas?" Alex asks the group.

All of them shook their heads.

"Well, happy spring everybody...that...is...in...the middle of Christmas break..." Sophia then says.

Then Roman was walking by, noticing them outside of Fran's house checking for the weather.

"Franny, is that my weather balloon?" Roman asked Fran.

Everyone looked at Fran.

"Oh, yeah, I forgot that it was yours. Sorry..." Fran responds.

"Nah, it's alright. I never even used it anyways."

"So what brings you here?" Henry then asks Roman.

"Oh, I was heading over to NASA."

Then Kevin's head lit up after Roman said that.

"NASA! That's it! Let's head over to NASA!"

"Uh...why?" Aidan asks him.

"Maybe we can get NASA to build some sort of giga rocket to move the earth back to its original position!"

"That sounds good! Let's go to NASA then!" Henry says.

"Uhm, yeah, that sounds great, but shouldn't we get changed into more short-sleeved clothing? Because I think we're all starting to burn from the heat!" Madison says.

"Good idea as well! Let's go get changed and then head over to NASA!" Henry corrected himself.

So that's what they went to do.
