I slept all the way across the ocean and woke up when I was about to land.

I had so much to do.

First I had to go to my dorm and leave my baggage, then I had a meeting with the dean and then with the professor.

I was glad I got some sleep before an intense day.

I got off the airplane and went on a bus.

I had some time before I had to get off, so I checked my phone.

I had a text from Catherine about work, a pinterest notification and a new message on instagram.

I checked instagram first and saw that JungKook had sent me a message.

Involuntary my heart started to beat faster and my mind went blank.

I opened it with my hands shaking a bit.

Why was I nervous?

He wasn't even here.

J: Hiiiii! I saw that your flight just landed. Did you get there okay?

Aw, he cares way too much.

And it was messing with my head.

I knew there could never be something more between us, no matter how much I wanted there to be.

So I tried to reply with something a friend would say.

A: Ah, you are just too sweet. My flight was great, I slept the whole way.

Simple, kind and friendly, right?

His reply came immediately.

J: I'm happy to hear that. I have to go practice now. Have a good day. :)

A smiley face.

Does that mean something?

Am I just thinking too much into the situation?

Probably.

The day went by rather smoothly.

Nobody minded my change of heart and they were happy to help me.

But I did miss out on some important assignments and would have to work super hard to keep up.

Thankfully I only had 4 more weeks of the internship left and after I finished it, I could focus only on my studies.

In my two weeks in England not much happened.

I went to classes at day and studied all nights.

It was great to see my friends again, but at the same time I felt bad, because I couldn't talk about my time with the boys in L. A.

I couldn't even ask them for advice about my growing feelings for JungKook, because I wouldn't be able to give all the details.

What cheered me up during the intense days there were the texts from the boys.

Namjoon checked on me every day, even Jin sent me a good luck message.

Tae and Jimin video called me once and I talked to JungKook in all of my free time.

It was really hard because of the time difference and our busy schedules. We agreed not to wait up for the other to answer, but rather answer when we had the time, even if that was just two texts a day.
