"Welcome on board of flight 2308 from London to South Korea. We hope you enjoy your flight and we will take off momentarily." A high voice resonated over the plane.
I was so on edge.
It was a month and a half after I had moved back to England.
It was hard saying goodbye to Catherine, but as always she saw the positive side and got excited about visiting me in England.
It took me no time to get used to the university life once again. Things went smoothly and after a few weeks I found out I would be traveling to Asia with my teaching program.
I had enough free time since I decided not to work whilst in England that I had written half of my book.
It was addictive and I loved how the real world disappeared and I was lost in my thoughts.
As promised I talked to the boys - mostly Joon and JungKookie - but they had had a mini album coming out and were busy all days long.
One day I woke up to a text.
Namjoon: have you been on youtube today? ;)
I didn't even reply him because I was already busy opening my laptop, opening youtube.
The first video on my feed was: BTS' JungKook: Euphoria
My heart stopped.
The euphoria?
The one he had sung to me in that dressing room.
When I had first realized how much I meant to him.
I clicked on the video and held my breath till the end of it.
It was beautiful.
The lyrics, the melody, his voice.
It took me back to that day, I had thought I could look back on it with only fond memories, but every time I thought about it and him, my heart fluttered.
After listening to in once I played it again and watched the video.
It was a compilation of JungKook filmed by his hyungs.
I knew I might had only been imagining it, but it felt like it was meant for me.
His song, the raw moments captured by the ones he loves, showing his true self and being confident while doing it.
Without a second thought I sent him a text.
A: You are the cause of my euphoria!
His reply came a few hours later.
J: what do you think?
A: AMAZING!!!
J: it was so personal and I didn't know if I should release it.
A: the emotion behing it is what makes it so special. I could hear it in your voice.
J: thank you. I had a great inspiration.
A: ☺️
I played the song every time I felt down and it never failed to put me in a better mood.
Two weeks before my departure I got an email with my destination.
I opened it, my hand shaking a bit as it was staring to hit me it was really going to happen so soon.
