12 | Let's go

After my workout with Anna I could not wait for the next morning.

I was in a good mood the whole day and hyungs got suspicious.

"What's gotten into you today, JK?" asked Yoongy during morning dance practice, raising his eyebrows.

"Just happy that we're here, that's all," I replied, putting on my best innocent look.

But my look couldn't get past Joon. After practice he nudged my shoulder and hinted me to come to him.

We were standing alone in the dressing room and he looked me in the eyes. He had a serious look on his face and it made me feel tense.

"Want to tell me the real reason you have been so energetic all morning?" His eyes were piercing me and his voice was laced with compassion I couldn't understand.

His gestures made me feel uneasy. The leader was rarely like this.

"Ummm, I don't know what exactly to say to you," I said. I knew lying to him had no benefits, but I didn't know his intentions.

"Does your mood have anything to do with a certain someone from this morning at the gym?" He asked, already knowing my answer.

"Possibly," I replied carefully. "How do you know that?" I thought no one knew about my morning activities.

He explained with a hint of sadness in his eyes. "I ran into Anna this morning and she told me you were up already."

Did hyung know something I didn't?

"Okay and what does my morning workout have with our schedule?" I asked genuinely curious, why it was such a problem. My brows were furrowed while RM answered, "I love that you are making friends and practicing your English. But remeber, we have a lot scheduled and are leaving in a week. Just keep that in mind, okay." He looked at me with a glint of regret and sadness that he had to tell me that.

I nodded, confused and alert that he was telling me this.

I hated that I was always kept out of the loop just because I was the youngest.

After RM got my agreement he lightly tapped my shoulder and gave me a faint smile and left, leaving me confused, with a knot forming in my stomach.

That certainly ruined the good mood and I had been in.

I was glad when our schedules finally ended and I was alone in my hotel room.

The words Joon had said wouldn't leave my mind. What did he mean? Clearly I knew the group came first and it wasn't as if anything could happen between Anna and me, no matter how cool she was.

A knock broke my chain of thoghts and I realized I hadn't cooked the instant ramen I intended to eat for dinner. I had just been tossing the cup in my hands.

With a groan and a roll of my eyes I stood up and went to the door ready to tell at the member who was bothering me.

I opened the door with an exaggerated swing ready to whine when I froze in my tracks.

My hello startled the maknae who had, by his surprised reaction, not been expecting to see me at the other side of the door.

He managed to say back a quick hey while he regained his posture.

I started babbling because being alone with him made me feel both nervous and confident at the same time.

"Jimin, Taehyung and I are going out for dinner. Do you want to come with?" I said with an excited expression, I wanted JungKook to come with.

He took a minute to think and left us standing in an awkward silecnce.
