[Anna]
What did that text mean?
Was he coming to the CAS after all if he had written "see you soon"?
I sighed.
I was going to give him the time.
But why was he so secretive?
A part of me was worried about seeing him, them again, but at the same time I was all jiggly at the thought of seeing him.
Why was he making me feel this way?!
I let out another frustrated sigh and that got Catherine's attention.
"What's up, Annie?" She asked from the couch.
"Oh, just looking at some dress choices for CAS" I was caught off guard and shopping was the first thing that popped into my mind.
I was glad that Cat bought it.
I didn't fell like answering a bunch of questions at the moment.
She chirped from the couch, "I'm so excited for Tuesday. It's going to be awesome."
Right, Tuesday. Dress shopping. I was beyond excited.
After I texted JungKook back with an "Okay, I'll wait." I didn't get a reply.
I didn't want to bother Namjoon with my stupid problems so I decided to focus on writing since I had already prepared everything for my time with the European artist.
Monday was a work day and it flew by.
I was at some interviews, went over some files and drank a lot of coffee.
I had to stop myself a few times from going online and searching for dresses, because I didn't want to find one I liked and would then look for one like it in all the shops.
I was going to let the universe lead me to my dress.
Finally Tuesday came.
Catherine and I finished work after the lunch break and went shopping.
I had gone shopping a few times in my time in Los Angeles, but I had never been to such expensive stores.
I was afraid to look at the price tags, because everything was so expensive.
Cat notices by hold-backs and told me that the dress would be paid by the company.
And when I gave her a sceptical look, she said, "I buy every special-event dress with the company card. Stop worrying and come on!" She exclaimed and took my hand.
She didn't have to drag me for long, because when I saw the beautiful clothes in the store my legs led me into the store.
I found a few things I liked, but still no dress that screamed "I'm the one" to me.
A black one was too open in the front, a red one was dismissed by Cat "everyone always wears red" with a roll of her eyes.
Then a blue one. It was so pretty, the front covered in lace and the back open, but it just didn't feel like The dress.
Then after four hours we entered one last store.
Catherine wandered away and I found myself walking to the end of the store.
There it was.
It was like the dress had been calling out for me.
On a rack behind a ton of other clothes hung The dress.
