Surprise

I wake up one morning feeling that the usual warmth of Remus' body is gone. I frown to myself as I sit up in bed. I get out of bed, putting my fluffy slippers on as I do so, and walk quietly out of the room. I hear Remus quietly humming to himself in the kitchen. I smile to myself as I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his waist from behind him. 
"Morning." He says as he continues cooking breakfast.
"Come back to bed." I mutter and hear him chuckle slightly.
"I'm a bit busy." He says and carefully pries my arms off him. I sit on the clean counter beside the oven and jokingly pout. 
"Stop acting like a child." Remus says as he sees me sitting on the counter. 
"You left me." I mutter in betrayal.
"I was hungry." He says defensively.
"I was cold." I argue. He just chuckles as he shakes his head slightly. 
"I was also making this food for you." He says and I cant help but smile. 
"Whatcha making?" I ask.
"Scrambled eggs." He says. I had recently told him that scrambled eggs are one of my favourite breakfast foods. (Unless you're vegan/dont eat eggs/dont like eggs. If so then just change it to something else

I sit silently, watching him as he made breakfast. We didnt need to talk to each other, just being in each others company was enough. He finishes cooking and splits the food between two plates.
"Sirius not getting any?" I ask.
"He woke up before you did and went to James and Lily's." Remus explains. I nod my head and take my plate from him. We head to the living room and I turn the TV on and we watch as we eat our breakfast. 
"I've got to go and do some shopping later." Remus says.
"I'll come with you." I say but Remus shakes his head. "Why not?"
"I-I just need to do something." Remus says and avoids looking at me.
"Remus, what are you up to?" I ask but he just takes my empty plate from my hands and takes the plates into the kitchen to clean them. I watch him as he washes the dishes the muggle way, even though he could just use magic to do it. 

I sigh to myself and egin flicking through the channels on the TV. I finally find somethig interesting and Remus comes over to me and kisses me on the cheek.
"I'll be back soon, I promise." He says and I mutter bye before he apparates out of the apartment. 

I turn off the TV and decide to have a bubble bath. Its better than sitting around and moping about the fact that my boyfriend is hiding something from me. 
I begin running the bath and get undressed. Once I make sure that the bath is a nice temperature I got into the tub. I sigh with contentment as relaxation took over me. 
I stayed in the bath for quite a while and I hear Remus shout my name from the living room.
"I'm in the bath!" I yell back. I hear him go into our bedroom before coming into the bathroom and sitting beside the bath.

"Hey," He says. "I'm sorry I'm being so secretive. Why dont we go out tonight to make up for it?"
"That seems great." I say with a smile. He kisses me before leaving the bathroom, leaving me to continue my bath in peace.

I get changed for mine and Remus' date, we werent doing anything fancy, just going to a restaurant and then going on a walk, so I was wearing a casual but pretty outfit. I walk out of my bedroom to see Remus and Sirius talking on the couch. 
"What you two talking about?" I ask as I walk over to them.
"Nothing." Remus says as I kiss him on the cheek. I notice Sirius is smiling at us.
"What you smiling at?" I ask my brother.
"Nothing." 
"You two do a lot of nothing." I say sarcastically. 
"You ready to go?" Remus asks and I nod my head. "I just need to get something first." He says and walks into our bedroom. I give Sirius a confused look but he pretends he didnt see it.
"Sirius, what is he up to?" I ask.
"Nothing." 
"I swear if one of you say 'nothing' one more time-"
"I cant tell you." Sirius says cutting off my threat. 

Remus comes back into the living room and I walk over to him.
"What are you hiding?" I ask. He just shakes his head.
"You'll see." 
"Remus, you know I hate surprises." I whine. I walk closer to Remus and stick my hands into his jacket pocket. I feel something but Remus quickly takes it out of his pocket before I can grasp it and he holds the object behind his back.
"What is that?" I ask as I try to reach behind him and grab it.
"Nothing." Remus says and quickly throws the object to Sirius, who catches it easily. 
"Remus," I whine. "Just tell me." 
"Nope."
