"Morning sleepy head." I greet Remus as he comes down into the kitchen. I had woke up before him(which I expected, the full moon is in two days and he's been feeling really tired) and decided to make us both some pancakes for breakfast, lucky for him I had just finished as he came down the stairs.
He mumbles something incoherently before hugging me from behind, his hands placed delicately on my stomach and his head resting on my shoulder.

"Well aren't you wide awake this morning." I joke.
"Shut up," He grumbles. I notice his eyes are closed and he looks as if he's about to fall back asleep. "I'm still tired."
"Will you wake up for pancakes?" I ask.
"Maybe." He mumbles but still doesn't move.
"Well, you're going to have to let go of me." I say and he sighs but releases me from his grasp.

I grab one of the two plates of pancakes and a fork and hand them to him.
"Thanks." He mutters. I grab the other plate for myself and grab a fork before we head into the living room and sit down on the couch.
Neither of us turn the TV on so we sit and eat in a comfortable silence.

We finish eating and Remus takes both of our plates into the kitchen and uses a spell to make the dishes clean themselves.
He sits down on the couch beside me and snuggles up to me once again, his head on my shoulder and his arms loving wrapped around me.

"Remus?" I ask quietly. He hums in response. "Does your dad know that I'm pregnant?"
Remus sits up again. "Umm, well, no." He answers. "I guess we should tell him."
"Well duh, its his first grandchild."
"First?" Remus questions with a smirk.
"Well, I don't know, we might end up having more kids." I shrug. "You never know, neither of us can predict the future."
"But that would be pretty cool." Remus says and I nod in agreement.

"No, we're getting off topic." I say. "Why don't you send your dad a letter asking if we could all go out for lunch or something, we can tell him I'm pregnant then."
"That is a good idea," Remus says. "But what if he doesn't want to meet up with us? I mean really, we haven't spoke in over a year."
"Remus, he's your dad." I say. "Think about it this way, once our kid grows up and starts a life of their own, wouldn't you still want to be a part of their life?"
"Ugh, I hate it when you're right." He mumbles. "Fine, I'll send him a letter. We could meet up with him next week, that way I wont be feeling all tired and dead because of the stupid moon."

Remus kisses me softly on the forehead before heading upstairs to write the letter to his dad.
I turn the TV on and begin watching a random show, I had no clue what was happening but it was rather amusing.

Remus comes back down the stairs and once again cuddles up beside me.
I lean closer to him, enjoying the comfortable warmth of his body.
I love this.

"Remus, are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" I ask for probably the billionth time. Remus is insisting that since I'm pregnant, I shouldn't accompany him during his monthly transformations.
"Y/n, I'll be fine on my own." He insists. "I don't want you or the baby getting hurt. Besides, we don't even know if you being in your animagus form while pregnant is safe. I just don't want to take any unnecessary risks."
"Fine." I mutter grumpily.
"Look, there's plenty of ice cream and chocolate in the house, have some food and watch a movie or something." Remus suggests.
"I guess that doesn't sound too bad." I admit. "But I'll still be worried about you."

"I know you will," Remus says, gently placing his hand on top of mine. "And I also know that there's probably no way to stop you worrying about me, but please just try not to worry too much, stress isn't good for the baby. I've done this alone plenty of times before, I'll be fine."
I sigh quietly. "Fine, I'll try to stop worrying."
"Thank you." He says before gently kissing me.
