"My passion?... What does this have to do with leaving?!" Liam yelled, Emma still hadn't calmed down so he began patting her on her back.
"Don't you remember?! I had that dream, where I saw that meteorite fall! I dreamt that it was the end of the world!-"
"Bullshit!!" Liam went to the bedroom and placed the crying baby on the bed.
"What?! I'm not going crazy!" Valentina shouted from the other room.
"Did I say that you were going f*cking crazy?!!"
"Take a look outside!!" Liam glared at his wife while she pointed at the window, she had tears in her eyes and her body was trembling in fear. Liam was outraged.
"Go on!"
"ARGH! F*CK YOU!!" He stomped towards the window, in his room and he looked at the flames from that area. He looked for a while, then his eyes widened...
"Mom...That's where she lives!"
"Exactly..."
"Wait... you had this dream, a year ago...Right?..." He looked at her with a worrisome face, he doesn't know what to be afraid of. The possibility that his mom is dead...or that his wife knew...?
"Yes... I had 7 dreams that night! But the only thing I remembered was this meteorite crash!" Valentina yelled over the screams of her baby. They were both shocked with trauma that they couldn't hear the sound of their child crying.
"I have to call mom first...!" He takes out his phone from his pocket and leaves the room. "And shut her up!!"
Valentina wiped her tears and sighed. She picked up Emma and smiled, attempting to reassure her child. However, the baby's eyes were closed shut. Val rocked Emma in her arms, laid her head on her shoulder, and tried to shush her.
"F*CK!" Liam raged that he threw his phone on the floor. He bent down on his knees and he pulled his hair. It was almost like he was losing his mind.
"What happened?!" Valentina looked at him from the bedroom door.
"There's no f*cking reception! What do I do?..."
Suddenly, there was another whistling sound in the sky. Crash!! Another object crashed nearby, from the sky. But from the balcony, it was unclear where it landed. Maybe it landed on the other side. Moments later, there was a mass sound of gunshots that fired everywhere.
"Oh no... We need to go! NOW!" Valentina so urgently begged as she bounced on her toes.
"No... We can't leave..."
"Are you f*cking crazy?! We can't just sit here and die! Your daughter doesn't deserve to die just yet!! Stand up and be a father!"
Tears began to form in her eyes, she was so close to breaking down with her child in her arms. Valentina could feel her insides shaking. She knew that this was going to be the end, but she still continued to stand.
Liam looked up slowly, with tears in his eyes... He stands up, and gently rubs Emma's head, then kissed it. He wrapped his other hand around Valentina's waist and hugged them both.
He stepped back and let out a heavy sigh. "Let's go..."
They both went to the bedroom.
"I need you to take Emma to mom's place."
"What?! No! It's too dangerous!"
"It's only dangerous when you expect it to be dangerous...or something like that..." Liam said as he searched for a bag to pack everything in it.
