Wednesday, 3:30pm

The air was cool and leaves scattered across all parts of the ground. It was now fall and the park was a perfect place to enjoy the nice weather, in which Gon and Killua were planning to do so.

The park was quiet and only the sounds of voices in the distance could be heard. Killua smiled, listening to Gon talk his ear off about his day. He noticed the mood change compared to earlier when the male was a bit upset. A part of him still wondered why the teen was so off earlier.

"Killua...". Killua was brought back to reality by the call of his name. He looked over to Gon, who was eyeing him down excitedly. Killua furrowed his brows, confused. Gon giggled as a light blush appeared on the other teen's cheeks. Gon then pointed to the food stand across the grass.

He smiled and asked, "you hungry?".

Killua looked back at the food stand. Now that he thought about it, a part of him was kinda hungry. "Sure", he agreed. Immediately, Gon took hold of his hand and dragged him to the counter attendant. He turned back to Killua, giving him a small wink. "Don't worry, I'll pay".

Before Killua knew it, he and Gon were seated on a park bench, hot dog in hand, and not a single cent spent to buy it. Killua smiled, feeling a little guilty of Gon buying all of his food. He turned his attention to the teen, who was obviously enjoying his hot dog. Killua let out a small giggle before saying, "I'll pay you back".

Gon stopped eating his hot dog and turned his eyes toward Killua. He was silent for a moment before he started laughing as if he was going to choke on the food still in his mouth. Once he finished, a small smile curled at his lips.

"Don't worry about it...", he answered.

Killua opened his mouth to protest, as he always would, but Gon stopped him. "Seriously, don't fuss about it...", Gon convinced. Killua watched him for a moment, realizing his defeat. He then turned back to his hot dog, chewing it slowly.

Killua felt Gon lean into him slightly, arm rested behind his head on the bench. The teen felt both his cheeks warm and the piece of food he just ate go down the wrong way. He coughed quietly, hoping Gon wouldn't freak.

Gon just tilted his head confused. "You okay?", he asked. "Yeah...", Killua managed to respond.

There was nothing said after that.

Gon looked off the side awkwardly, while Killua finished the remains of his food. Gon finally turned back to Killua, a confused look written all over his face.

"What're you even supposed to talk about on these type of dates?", he asked.

Killua turned back to the other, a little disbelief filling his eyes. He giggled a little.

"Well I thought you would know...", he answered.

Gon rose an eyebrow and looked off to the side. He laughed a bit before saying, "well yeah, but it's hard when you already know pretty much everything about the person you're on a date with...". Killua shrugged in agreement.

"Well, then why don't we do something that won't require as much talking...?", Killua asked, completely unaware of what he just said.

The two teens were silent.

Killua suddenly burned red and squeezed the remaining wrapper in his hand, while Gon bursted out in laughter. Killua wanted to hide himself from the world immediately. He turned to Gon, who was still crying of laughter.

"I-I... didn't mean like that...", Killua apologized, practically trembling. Gon was still giggling, trying to regain himself. He nodded, agreeing to what Killua was saying. "I... didn't think you did, don't worry...".
