(Liz, Liz, Lizzy! Wake up.) I feel my body being rocked back and forth by the use of little force, I open up my eyes and the first person I expected to see was Jessica, she used to call me "Lizzy", now this voice waking me up is bringing back old memories, I widely open up my eyelids and I can see Grace standing over me with the most weirdest smile I've ever seen before, "Can you feel it? Of cause not, you can't feel it, it feels you" said Grace as she exclaimed and started to giggle. "What Happened to the innocent Grace, I have never seen her like this, why is she this hyped?" I asked myself while trying to access the situation around me, the harsh reality hit me...
Jennifer was taken away by Gustavo, we were still locked up in this stuffy room and...wait a minute! The last memory I have is a memory of Gustavo giving us food and we all passed out, I can still remember his exact words "you are strong" he said, what did he mean? Were we drugged or he gave us sleeping pills? So many questions clouded my judgement and I couldn't think straight, suddenly I felt this great energy, I got up as fast as I could and felt my legs, Grace then stood besides me while sweating and said "oh boy, I guess you feel it now" I started asking "I feel something, but what is it exactly?" Grace responded energetic "I think they gave us drugs, our food had drugs in it and it feels good!". I always had problems with recalling somethings but luckily this one can quick to mind; During my first semester, all freshmans were obligated to complete a certain module to obtain their qualifications, the module was called "Health Call" it had a strange name but it was very informative, because we got to learn about dangers and benefits of some products to the body... I thought of this because we once touched on drugs as a topic and discussed Meth as it was/ still is the most common drug other than cocaine mostly sold in our state,
It's amazing how fast I remembered this, I think Grace was still in phase no.2 which is referred to as "The High"— The high, sometimes called the shoulder. During the high, the abuser often feels aggressively smarter and becomes argumentative, often interrupting other people and finishing their sentences. The delusional effects can result in a user becoming intensely focused on an insignificant item, such as repeatedly cleaning the same window for several hours. The high can last four to six hours. This showed Graces behavior, she was repeating the same thing and is all hyped, wait...I remembered all this information so I think I'm becoming smarter, the drug is controlling me, I'm so glad we passed out before experiencing the first phase "rush" our bodies wouldn't have withstood the rush while conscious. I then looked around again and saw Katherine on the bed throwing up, and I asked myself "is she on the withdrawal stage? Is her body rejecting the drug?" I then assumed that it was less than 8 hours ago when we were handed the food and we passed out one by one. "Do you know that the African continent is the most poor continents of them all? Do you know that the sum of PI is infinite because it keeps on dividing it's radius over by itself?" Muttered Grace in a very lightly manner, I then recalled that some symptoms of the drug "meth" known as "crystal meth" make you feel aggressively smarter, this Stage is called "the High" —The rush stage is followed by a high, sometimes called the shoulder. During the high, the abuser often feels aggressively smarter and becomes argumentative, often interrupting other people and finishing their sentences. The delusional effects can result in a user becoming intensely focused on an insignificant item, such as repeatedly cleaning the same window for several hours. The high can last four to sixteen hours. I then thought of answering less questions imposed by Grace....
But this was the only time I have been able to talk to her since we came here and she was drugged, I mean we both were deugged. I started complimenting her long blonde hair, just to think of it, it was my first time knowing a Blondie that was specially awkward and was an introvert. Usually the blondies are the one's running things, I then started to think about Jessica and the question popped itself out as I was thinking of it "Ms October, when did you last see Jessica?" I asked knowing that the possibilities of getting that answer will be less than 50%. Grace smiled at me and responded "she was the last person I knew that I saw before I was abducted or kidnapped, or whatever you should call it" the smile she gave was crukket so I felt like I had touched on a sensitive matter "wait, what!? She was the last person I last saw, this can't be possible" I tried convincing myself and trying to find out a clue that could discredit our statements. "I think she sold us out" said Ms October as the laughed out loud "I mean, if she didn't, why isn't she here suffering with us" the quick defence answer popped up; "maybe she got away" I said in an emotional state and Grace responded "Twice? Let us not act ignorant on the matter" I read the blanks and I knew what Grace was assuming, we were both intoxicated, maybe it's the drugs talking or she means it, but I had to hear it coming straight from the horse's mouth then I asked "What do you mean?" Before Grace could answer that question the drug started taking complete control and she started mumbling. I felt the urge to sleep in order to suppress the high, I closed my eyes and my brain floated in the hidden parts of itself.
