When I got to gain back my conscious for those few seconds, everything was hazy my head felt heavy I was like an infant who had not properly developed a strong neck to hold the head upright, my eye lids were heavy although they had nothing to carry but had one job "to cover my eyes". The smell around me was stuffy, as if we were in an old un-cleaned laundry room filled with dirty clothing, I was in the back seat with my hands tied using a rope and my winter clothes were stripped, it was not raining nor colder than the night I was conscious at the bar, my neck was like a rubber band, not stretching but wobbly so my head hit the back window and my eye lids opened up wider than before, that's when I realized "I'm in a bus", the other front seats were empty and some girls laid there in the back walk way unconscious and all wearing the same robes as me, there was only two guys in the bus but I was sure they were awaiting the driver.
Back as a kid when we would take road trips with Jessica's dad and mother I would gaze outside the windows in order to remember the little clues I could about the directions we took, while thinking of that the thought of Jessica came to mind "woah, wait...is Jessica here, did those two guys get her too?" All I could do was to ask myself and no one would answer me, I looked around and Jessica was nowhere insight.
The guy in the front seat was looking outside and continuously checking his watch, maybe they were running out of schedule or maybe the driver took longer than expected.
The other guy who was a front seat away from me was playing a puzzle game in his phone, trying to stall and pass time...
I then tried to lift my head and see where we are so I can spot something familiar and nothing looked familiar, we were in a dark alley although it was day time, I kept lurking "maybe I can find a clue on where we actually are, there must be something"
And then a thought came to mind "wait, what if we're no longer at Binghamton?" Considering my empty stomach that could be a possibility, maybe I've been out cold for more than 12 hours, we could be anywhere by now.
The guy at the back shouted to the guy in the front seats, "hey, when do you think the driver will be back, we are running off schedule, we have been here for more than half an hour, the bosses will be pissed off we don't deliver this cargo by time" That's when the guy seated in the front seats turned back to answer the guy at the back, but just before he could, he saw me lurking in the windows and shouted "hey, this one is awake, take this" he then tossed a needle to the other guy who quickly stuck it into my neck. Just before I could pass out, the guy who just drugged me shouted "Whoa, that was close but this should do the trick...these Binghamton girls that Jessy keeps bringing in are tough but then, business is booming, more girls to deliver means for money in store for us". That's when I lost consciousness but I could feel the doors closing and loud arguing voices before the bus could start moving, maybe the other guys were shouting at the driver for taking too much time.
