Grace's POV:

When I went to my room, I just watched random videos and stuff.

She heard a knock at the door, and after I said come in, in walked Bucky.

He sat down, and she paused her music video.

"I'm guessing Steve told you about me?"

"Yeah, he did."

"Are you..."

"Afraid?"

I nodded.

"No."

What? How come he isn't afraid?

"Grace, I can relate to you. I'm pretty sure you don't know this, but I wasn't always the good guy. Steve thought I died in the 40s, but really I was captured by an evil group named HYDRA. They brainwashed me, made me do things I will never forget, for years. Steve managed to find me, and turn me, but life wasn't always so good."

He understands. The first person in my life to understand.

"If you ever need anything, just let me know. Grace you're not alone and..."

I gave him a hug, cutting him off. For some reason, Bucky reminded me of an older brother, someone I could talk to.

The rest of the afternoon we watched random videos and talked. I learned funny stories about Steve, and I told Bucky funny stories about the team. We laughed, and it was a lot of fun. I never felt this open around somebody, besides Peter. She did have one question though.

"Okay, you have to be honest with me on this question."

Bucky looked at her.

"Do you like Steve?"

He put on a mask, but he couldn't hide his embarrassment from me.

"No. Of course not."

"Bucky..."

"Okay... maybe."

"I've seen the way you look at him, and the way he talks and looks at you."

"What do you mean?"

"Bucky, before you came, Steve talked about you and Sam coming for the past couple weeks. Of course, he was happy that Sam was coming, but when he talked about you, he had a spark in his eyes."

He was quiet.

"You think I have a shot?"

"Of course I do! But if you're not confident... I can talk to him."

"Really?"

"Of course, you're my friend."

We continued talking about random stuff, till we had to go eat. We put on a movie while eating, and when Steve went up to go to the kitchen, I followed.

"So Steve... I have a question. Please be honest."

"Sure Grace."

"Do you like Bucky?"

"Of course I do, he's my friend."

"No... do you like like him?"

I watched his face turn when he figured it out. He was embarrassed.

"No. Why- why do you say that?"

"Steve... you're a terrible liar."

He stayed quiet.
