*Narrator's POV*
Ava stood staring anxiously as she realized that now her parents and eldest brother were familiar with her secret. She looked in the direction of her twin and he seizedthe similar expression as her.
They together gauged their father's countenance and realized, he was not even looking at them instead was staring in the front, then and there Grace Richardson broke the edgy silence...
"What is this Ava and by the expression on your face Adam, I think you were aware about this? And why didn't you communicated to me about this?" They both were flabbergasted at their mother's composed attitude and calm tone.
"Ava! Mom is asking you something. Answer her!" Nial insisted highlighting his authoritative stance which is used only on his employees.
What the hell! Why are they reacting this way? She wondered. Ava couldn't lift her eyes up to encounter anybody's on the other hand she noticed from the corner of her eye that Nial was trying to suppress a smile which made her confused further.
"What do you guys want to know? You all have already read about the whole thing from my journal! And Nial you, why the hell are you smiling? It's not a crime to be infatuated by someone! Is it Dad, Mom? And yes Adam knew about it from the start and I didn't share this with you guys because then you all would have given me lecture about this and all of you would just become more possessive than you already are now. So you and dad tell me how was I supposed to tell you guys about this?" she exclaimed.
As she finished there was pin drop silence, subsequently everyone burst out laughing except Adam and Ava.
They both yet again shared a look of bewilderment then looked in front of them at scene. Everyone was laughing but what's so funny Ava wondered!
"Oh God Ava! Haha you are so adorable sweetie. Ave you must know that we don't mind you having a crush on anyone nevertheless indeed we'll perceptibly be protective every time it comes to you sweetie. You are my only daughter --" Mr. Richardson was cut off by his eldest son "and our only lil sister Ave, we just don't want you to get hurt in any way possible that's why we try our best to keep you safe and protected. We all love you baby sis."
At this everyone nodded their heads in agreement and Ava was not able to control her emotions and she jumped on her brother and embraced him soon others also joined them.
She was worrying for no reason Ava thought to herself, her family will always support her in every situation and aspect of her life.
Thelone problem for Ava was 'how she should profess her feelings towards her bestfriend face to face'. Thinking about that, was enough to make her feel unsteadyas she was afraid that Ian would not accept her feelings and it might end upinfluencing their friendship, in a bad way!
