"D-ad?" I gasp in surprise. Eloise just stares and Mum seems to be...croaking? Eloise starts talking in to a walkie-talkie attached to her skirt that I just noticed.

"West Wing, Brad Williams, room 199. Just awoke from coma."

Multiple voices reply back. Eloise starts toward Dad, but Mum is like a tigher. She pounces on Eloise, then scratches her. I have never seen Mum act like this. Eloise easily pushs Mum off of her. "Excuse me Mrs. Williams," says Eloise. "I've got something to do." Then she turns to me with a dark look on her face. "Get your Mum out of here." I stare in to space. "Now!" Snaps Eloise. This gets me awake. I quickly get Mum and drag her-literally- out of the room. Many doctors and nurses are running down the hallway, and it isn't abandoned like it was before. As the doctors and nurses enter Dad's room. Dad looks confused as people pull breathing masks on him, and push needles inside of him. Soon, Dad falls backward and his head bumps the head of the board. Dad's asleep. Again.

I rush back inside the room, leaving Mum in the hallway. One of the doctors- who looks like the head doctor- looks at me then Eloise. "Who's this?" He asks Eloise, pointing at me,

"There family of Mr. Wiliams, sir." Answers Eloise, a scared expression on her face. Something in my guts tells me she did somethinng she wasn't supposed to do.

"I told you no one was aloud to visit anyone in the West Wing! Even if they're family!" Yells the doctor. I was right. Eloise is in trouble.

Eloise frowns. "But-"

"No buts Miss. M." The doctor is fuming with anger. "Get out of this room! Get out of this hospital! You're fired!" Now I'm fuming. You don't fire someone for helping! Thats just mean!

"You can't fire her!" I scream. The doctor gives me a harsh look. "She was just trying to help me and my Mum! We were anxious- even desperate- to see my Dad!" Eloise face grows harsh like the doctor's. She wants me to back out of this, stop screaming. But I won't listen. I run towards my unconscious Dad. "Leave him alone! Leave Eloise alone!" Tears run down my cheeks, forming a river of tears. My throat hutrs. My heart hurts. The doctor looks furious. Eloise looks furious. Everyone in the room looks furious. Includeing me. Dad's the only one that doesn't look furious, but thats because he's asleep. He probably would look furious if he was awake.

"You get out of here, Young Lady," growls the doctor. "Or I'll get the big, giant guards." A smirk spreads across his face. Did he just threaten me? I am done with this cruel man. I am done. So I do what I can. And what I can do right now is

punch.

The doctor looks shocked as his tongue rolls out revealing a tooth laying on it. He picks the tooth off is tongue and yells. He yells as loud as he can. Theres a huge red spot on his left cheek where I punched him. It looks liek it hurts a lot.

But all I can do is hold my hands over my mouth. Eventually, when I think he's going to stop yelling and screaming. I pull my hands off my mouth enventually and stick my tngue out at him. This infurates him  even more. He shouts yells louder and I think my ears are going to burst right there and then. The doctor tells me the same thing he told Eloise. "Leave this room! Leave this hospital!"

Eloise is staring at me angerily. I've probably gotton her in much, much more trouble then what she started with, when all I was trying to do was not get her in more trouble. My body tok over and I decided to punch. I should of just kept my mouth shut.

After he says, "Leave this room! Leave this hospital!" I say, "I can't, doctor. My Mum is to depressed to drive. Plus, I have to stay at the hospital because my little sister is here, because she was injured." The doctor is annoyed. I think everbodies annoyed with me. Dad would've grounded me if he was in the right state too. Mum would've too, but she is for sure not in the right state to.

"The at least leave this room!" Yells the doctor, his voice scratchy and hoarse from yelling. "Miss M! This is all your fault, Your fired! Go! And bring this wrteched beast with you!" Eloise sighs as she clasps a hand over my mouth to prevent me from saying what I was about to. She leans over and whispers in to my ear, "Keep it to yourself." Then she uncovers my mouth. "Lets go, Emily." Says Eloise so everyone can here. "I'm sorry I dissapointed you, sir." The odctor looks at us crossly, rubbing his swollen cheek. It is really hard to take him seriously when he looks like this. It's hard not to laugh when I see him, but I do  my best not to, because I don't want him to start yelling again.

Eloise and I walk in to the hallway and I help Mum up of the ground where she is sitting. We all walk in silence the wholetrip to the Lobby, When we reach the Lobby, Mum says, "I want to see Lacey." So Eloise takes Mum to see Lacey. I think about going, but decide not too. I'm done seeing patients. I'm done seeing family. I bet if I see Lacey, I'll just get in trouble again.

Eloise comes back down to the Lobby without Mum a couple minutes later.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asks, sitting down in a orange chair across from mine.

"Talk about what?" I snap, even though I know perfectly well what she's talking about.

"You know," Eloise smiles. "You just don't want to talk about it." How does she read me like that? How does she read my thoughts?

"If I did want to talk about it, why would I talk about with you?" I spit, looking at my turquoise sneakers.

"Because I'm your friend." Friend. I'm Eloise's friend. Well, I guess she's been mighty nice to me and Mum. I guess she could be my friend. But still, why would I talk to a friend about such personal stuff? Actually, it isn't that personal because a bunch of people were there. Including Eloise. So I start by asking a simple question, "Are you mad at me?" Like, because I got you in in trouble? Because I got you fired?"

"No," Eloise smiles and leans forward. "I'm not mad at you. I've worked at many different hospitals becaause of this particular problem: I let someone visit someone that isn't supposed to be visited." I was shocked. I would be flipping mad if someone got me fired.

"Then why did you give me such stern looks when we weere in the room?" Its a selfish question but I couldn't think of any other question.

"To look professional." Says Eloise. "And is this how you talk about things? By asking questions?"

I nod. "Is something wrong with that?"

"No." She says. She glances at her watch. "I've got to leave, Emily."

"Bye." I whipser.

"Bye." Eloise go's over to behind the front desk and comes out with some stuff. Then she comes over to me. She leans over. "Bye." She repeats. She crouches so I am looking in to her emerald green eyes. She kisses my forehead. "Bye." She gets up and starts for the front door.

"Will I ever see you again?" I ask quickly.

Something in Eloise's eyes sparkle. "Maybe." Then she disappears into the misty air outside.
