My eyes flutter open. I try to sit up, but my head is whirling around to much. I lift my neck a bit and see four blurry figures. My eyes clear a bit and I identify two boys and two girls. One of the boys is a older looking guy, like Herb. The other a boy that is at least 3 years older than me. One of the girls looks my age, maybe younger, and the other one looks my age for sure. They are all staring at me like I should do something. Something amazing. I lay back down and hear one of the girls say, "Ha! She can't do a thing! Why did you choose Brad to capture this useless thing?" Brad? Capture? Useless?

I can tell that the older man is speaking when he replies, "Because, Kleo, she has the same blood as Brad, and you know how good of a Dream Haunter Brad is." My heart is racing. I sit up without effort.

"Brad-Brad Williams?" I ask.

The old man turns to me from Kleo and says, "Well, well. Now that she's heard her brothers name, she's awake. But before we cut to the chase, lets introduce ourselves. You may call me Master Arganot." Arganot looks at the younger girl. "Your turn."

"My name is Rose Tyler!" Says the younger girl. She's beaming at me like everything is perfect and nothing  in this world will ever go wrong. "And I'm 14 years old!" She's two years younger than me.

Kleo sighs. "My name is Kleo Karney, and I'm 16 years old."

Then the other boy, the one that looks a few years older than me speaks in deep voice. "My name is Reed Trenton."

"Your age?" Arganot pushs.

"18." Well, I assumed he was older than me.

"Who are you?" I question. "Why am I hear? Why are you talking about my brother, Brad?" I want answers. Now.

Arganot holds out his hand. "Come with me and we'll talk." He says. I refuse his hand, and get up myself. Kleo and Reed are first to the...door? It looks more like a cave entrance. Arganot follows Kleo and Reed, and Rose hangs by the back with me, and soon enough, I find she really, really, really likes to talk.

"Where are we going?" I ask Rose

"To the Hangout." Answers Rose.

“Whats the Hangout?”

“Where we hangout.” I roll my eyes. Well thats obvious.

“I mean…I mean,” I stumble on my words as Rose stares at me intently. She’s actually kind of creepy. “Never mind.”

“Okay.” Rose plays with her braided, golden hair, twisting and turning it. She has a small dimpled smile on her face. “Hey, whats your name?”

“Emily.” I say this grimly. Should I share all my secrets with these strangers?

“Age?” Rose just has to get all the info she can about me, doesn’t she?

“16.” I try to keep a straight face, because I’m actually quite annoyed right now, but its hard to do when a 15-year-old is looking at you all googly- eye like.

“Cool.” Rose leans her head back and stares at the ceiling. “Brad is your brother?”

“I guess,” I say. This is where the conversation should start getting awkward. “If we are talking about the same Brad.”

“I think we are,” says Rose, still staring at the ceiling. “Dark hair, dark eyes, light brown skin?” Rose just described him perfectly. I try to picture Brad at 20 years old. Its hard to do, since when I last saw him was around 10 years. More, most likely.

“Same.” I wrap my arms around myself and sigh. Bad memories are rushing back to me, like arrows rushing in to there targets. Rose puts her arm around me. I try to push it off, but she resists, and her arm stays there.
