Ana woke up and realized she was late. She was supposed to be there when they were testing the time travel thing.

" Shit, I have to go. Are you sure you have to go back to where you were?" Ana asked.

" Yes, unfortunately. Besides, you might get your fiance back soon and I don't want to intrude. You've been waiting for this for five years whether you've realized it or not," Carol replied.

" We'll still be friends, right?"

" Yeah, we'll still be friends. I should be back by next month so I'll see you then,"

" Yeah, I'll see you then,"

When Ana got to the facility it looked like they had been practicing. It looked like they turned Scott into an old man.

" Is that supposed to happen? BecauseI'm not traveling through time looking like that," Ana quipped.

" Oh thank god you're here. Where were you?" Nat questioned.

" I was... busy,"

" Wait seriously? With who?"

" Carol,"

" As lovely as this conversation sounds we need you to turn him back, Bruce,"

Ana watched as Scott became a baby before returning to normal.

" Somebody peed my pants," Scott said.

" Oh thank god. You guys are real idiots," Ana replied.

" But I don't know if it was baby me or old me... or just me me,"

" Time travel!" Bruce said.

" Really Bruce? Well, it looks like I missed all the interesting shit can I go now?"

" No, Ana. We're going to figure out something," Natasha scolded.

Ana noticed Steve was gone. She wanted to go after him but she figured he wanted space.

" Do you really think we can do this?" Ana asked.

" I don't know. Try to be positive," Natasha replied.

" I will. I'm going to go check on Steve,"

Ana walked out of the compound to see Tony and Steve talking. She was hesitant to talk to Tony after what happened at the house but she knew he hadn't meant it.

" Will you keep that a little quiet? I didn't bring one for the whole team... we are getting a whole team right?" Tony questioned.

" Don't you worry about that we're working on it," Ana replied.

" Ana... about yesterday-"

" It's okay Tony. I know you didn't mean it. Now come on. We have a team to assemble,"

Ana walked away leaving the two guys by themselves.

" You know she's grown but its almost like she's the same person," Tony noted.

" It's an act. She's hurt and out of control. She almost killed Scott yesterday because he misspoke. She needs this more than anyone else," Steve explained.

" She did lose a lot more than any of us. We may have lost one or two of our team but she cared about them all. She felt as two of her closest family turned to ash. I may not have supported her actions after but I did what I could to support her,"

" Let's get inside. We have a plan to make up,"

When they got inside Ana and Nat were arguing.

" Natty, you don't know what you're going to see out there! It's better to be prepared!" Ana shouted.

" Ana I'm not taking you there to kill people," Nat replied.

" Why does everyone assume I'm going to kill someone! Besides Natasha, you don't get to judge. All I did in the Red Room is clean up after you. Now all I want to do is get Clint and save everyone. Is that too much to ask for?"

" You're not going. You are too unstable for this mission,"

" Bullshit! You don't want to admit I'm right. Clint is not the same person you knew. If you think I'm fucking bad you are in for a world of pain. I'm the only one he'll listen to so you have no choice,"   

" Ana! Enough!" Tony shouted.

As soon as the words came out of his mouth it looked like Ana snapped out of a trance. She had a look of guilt and fear on her face before becoming emotionless.

" I'm suiting up whether you like it or not, Natty. You can't keep me away," Ana said walking away.

" Does this happen a lot?" Tony asked.

" She doesn't mean it when she gets like this. Carol told me Ana feels like she losing control. All the anger she's felt for five years is just bursting out," Nat explained.

" She needs help," 

" She needs support. She needs her family back. She's right. Clint will only listen to her. He's always had a soft spot for her. We're leaving now. You guys do what you need to,"
