Ana jolted awake, scared Angel was going to be there. Instead, she saw Wanda and Pietro.

" How are you feeling?" Pietro asked.

" Sore, where is everyone else? How long have I been out?" Ana questioned.

" Everyone else is out on a mission, they should be back soon. You've been out for a day," Wanda explained," Ana, what did Angel mean when she said HYDRA didn't create her?"

Ana was silent for a moment as both twins looked at her with expectant looks.

" Well, that's exactly what she meant. HYDRA didn't create her, I did," Ana explained.

" When?" Pietro growled, furious.

" I'm not sure if it was when I was in the Red Room of if it was the day the shells hit. My mind created her as a way to protect myself in any way possible without guilt. HYDRA put the words in my mind so I couldn't control her. Apparently, she blames me for that,"

" And you didn't think to tell us!"

" Piet-" Wanda started.

" Because this is my problem!" Ana yelled silencing them," I created her and I'm the only one who can stop her for good. I didn't want you guys to feel obligated to help me."

" I thought we were honest with each other," Pietro said.

" Pietro-"

" Maybe you never changed,"

Before Ana could reply Pietro sped out of the room. Tears came to her eyes before she could stop them.

" You know he didn't mean that," Wanda said.

" You've seen my worst fear, you know this is how it went," Ana said.

Before Wanda could stop her Ana ran out of the lab. She chased after Pietro finally catching up with him.

" Pietro, wait," Ana said.

Pietro froze before continuing to move.

" I don't want to speak to you," Pietro barked.

" I didn't want to lie to you,"

" Then why did you?"

" Because I was scared! I was a ten-year-old girl getting thoughts in her head to kill. I could barely cope with it. I didn't want to worry you guys,"

" You should've. We believed you would be honest with us. You promised you would. Yet you broke that promise instantly! How do I know I can trust you?"

Ana stood there shocked for a moment. She couldn't believe he would say that to her.

" You know what, fuck you! You don't know what it's like to have a voice in the back of your mind telling you to kill your friends! You don't know what it's like trying to keep that other person from taking over! You're supposed to support and trust me and you can't even do that. I think we need to take a break," Ana ranted.

Before he could speak, she turned around and ran. He could have easily caught up to her but he knew he had to give her some space. He felt guilty for not believing in her. He caused her so much pain.
